Why is Michael Avenatti on MSNBC all the time?

There may well be good reasons.

Is there some knowledge base or newsworthy information he has access to that we can't get anyplace else and that needs to be expanded on every day?

He’s simply trolling the CHIT out of Team Trump, including Cohen.

He’s essentially gas-lighting them- and it’s working. He’s basically using their tactics against them.

And, the more he does it, the more they commit unforced errors.

It’s actually brilliant. He’s doing Trump tactics better than Trump does. Plus, he’s entertaining as hell. Dude has milked his fifteen minutes for all its worth.

If the President were a smart man, he'd be considering reasons why he can't get competent counsel.

He’s incapable of that. He’s incapable of the self-reflection that would require. He truly believes he can talk his way out of anything- and has no real sense of truth and reality now. He’s in a really surreal parallel universe right now.

After all, it’s NEVER his fault. About anything. And EVERYTHING he does is absolutely the right move in his mind.

Folks like that are incapable of understanding the truth behind his continued lack of capable representation, or prospects to represent him.

Would you represent him? He’s an amalgam of the worst client ever. Literally embodies every single horrible characteristic of a really bad client. What’s the upside for representing him? For most presidents, it would be an honor to represent the president. This one? You’re going to end up tarnished and worn out. And blamed for him not listening to damn thing you tell him.

Oh, and be regularly stiffs his Attorneys on their legal fees. If the RNC didn’t step up and cover his legal fees (and those of his family and entourage also, apparently), he’d have already lost the remaining poor souls that are representing him to this point. Not only does he not listen, but he doesn’t pay up either.

He’s already lost several attorneys already- he’s like a rabid, flea ridden dog with a horrible temper and biting problem in the pet store.

The ONLY reason anyone would take him on is either pity, or some misguided sense of obligation to do good. Because you know that pet would be a horrible pet/ and you’re going to have abandon it later, take it to the pound- or even worse put it down. There’s just no way it’s going to work out in the long term.

He suffered from two fatal flaws:

1) He doesn't seem to learn from past mistakes.
2) He clearly doesn't know what he doesn't know.

Toxic combo for anyone, never mind for the POTUS.

Ironically, the key to his success will be his instinctive actions driven by his extreme narcissism, self-interest, lack of empathy and self-awareness; that most polite society would not consider or attempt. But he will.
If he is successful, it will then set the precedence and standards of behaviour that we can expect of future POTUS.

Insah Allah, he will be stopped.

Her?

An interesting tweet,(and possible bombshell) from Avenatti today,as a Mother's Day gift...

Details here...

Appears somebody dropped Flynn's name in a most unflattering manner, and that situation has now made itself to court...

"In a declaration filed this month in related litigation, Kwatinetz claims Al-Rumaihi and others were using their investment in the league to try to gain influence over Steve Bannon, a former senior adviser to Trump who is reportedly close to Kwatinetz. According to Kwatinetz, this was part of a larger effort by Al-Rumaihi to act as an agent of Qatari intelligence.

Kwatinetz claims that Al-Rumaihi invited him on a hike in January 2018 and said that he had a message to convey from the government of Qatari government to Steve Bannon. Al-Rumaihi said that the Qatari government would underwrite all of Bannon’s political activity in return for his support on issues of importance to the country. Bannon had recently lost support from his main financial backer, Rebekah Mercer.

Kwatinetz says he told Al-Rumaihi such an offer was inappropriate. Al-Rumaihi allegedly responded by calling Kwatinetz naive and bragging that former Trump adviser Michael Flynn had no problem taking his money."

Cosmo... you need to add the inevitable Russian connection:

And from #BastaMike

(The explanation is in the tweet's thread)

How do you say Spider Web in Russian?

Avenatti threatens Daily Caller with lawsuit for exposing him.
This is going to get a lot better before Peak Avenatti is reached.

The snark in me says it's hard to go wrong when we latch on to a relentless self-promoter. What could go wrong?

Snark II says why is he among the most effective anti-Trump articulators and why are the 'establishment' Democrats mealy-mouthed and ineffectual in comparison? Well, maybe not 'why', but more like, that's disappointing.

Non-snark genuine curiosity asks how Avenatti keeps finding the news for which he's the source.

You called this one, didn't you?

Avenatti is a relentless self-promoter, and TV news definitely sucks, but he's a far more effective advocate than anyone Trump's got, and he keeps being the source of actual news. I just clicked on the TV to catch some election news and found him making news about huge post-election payments to Michael Cohen by AT&T, a big health care company, and a Russian oligarch. I don't know what this has to do with Stormy Daniel's case, but it's front page news.

More on Avenatti. I'd keep my eye on this guy. He's auditioning for something.
He passed the audition for a prison cell.

I never watched MSNBC at all during the time that Avenatti was on there, having only started paying attention to them last year (and really only to Rachel Maddow's show, since Cuomo sucks and Fox has Nazi hour then). I saw him a couple of times on CNN / Anderson Cooper and he sure didn't come across well. Evasive, sleazy, boastful...

Were all of his appearances related to the Stormy Daniels case? I am not sure that anything that Stormy alleged was ever found to be untrue.

Obviously she could have done a better job finding a lawyer and spokesperson, but finding any top lawyer who isn't a sleazeball is indeed a huge challenge.

LMAO! "I am not sure that anything that Stormy alleged was ever found to be untrue."

You had sex with a Goat. Has that ever been found to be untrue?

Must have been a slow news day...but not as ridiculous as tucker Carlson and the other traitors/liars on fox news
Nah, they are equally ridiculous from an editorial and political standpoint. The biggest difference is that FOX at least has some hard news reporting in between the political BS whereas MSNBC only has political BS.

I have a rower, bike and home made weight rack in my house.

Am I a white nationalist now? I thought there'd be more, you know, ideology and camouflage involved.

“you are basically a klan member “ - Joy Reid

Well, not yet but the homemade weight rack is gateway behavior and would certainly allow you to bypass the background check. Funny story, I had a client ages ago that was a real hothead. Super nice guy but not someone to piss off. He was building a house in a new development. Nice houses. The lots started at $900,000. His was at the very bottom of the cul de sac so that as you pulled onto the street and started down the hill his was the featured lot/house. His was the third house built out of maybe a dozen to be sold and built.

Well he got into a horrible fight with the builder over the builder's failure to fix a bunch of defects and punch list shit. Eventually the builder just stopped taking his calls, which really pissed him off. So I was driving over to see him and to my shock saw that he had installed a flag pole like you would see at city hall and was flying right in front of his house the biggest confederate flag I've ever seen in my life. I busted out laughing. I said wtf is that thing doing in front of your house?! What are you doing?! He goes "Oh yeah it's horrible but let's see that f*ucker sell these lots now."

I gather houses four through 12 also fly confederate flags now?
