I frequent a lot of different boards of different schools. It’s not just an IU thing. It is common on all that I visit. More proof that this nation needs to legalize weed so that the people can chill a little bit.

We are becoming a nation of co-dependents who far too easily give up control of our own mood to others based simply on words people speak. Which is ridiculously stupid if you really think about it

When someone doesn't agree with your point of view, it's like you're being challenged, and you butt hurt. Its like we are expecting everyone to say something like "thats a great point" or "wow, never thought of it that way" and when the dont, insults start flying about everything including punctuation, don't they?

There's a difference in someone being sensitive, and someone telling someone else they are stupid as hell. It's not the same, don't get them confused. I'm guilty. If I see someone post something that is not factual, and I know it to not be factual,I'm going to point it out regardless of personal view, every time. Reason being, when someone reads it,and starts making comments on a post that isn't factual to begin with, you now have stupid, untrue comments, based on something that isn't true in the first place and it makes everyone more dumb for having read it. Js.

Anonymity breeds a disregard to people's feelings. I am convinced a lot of people on the internet tend to forget they are conversing with real people. It is like some kind of fantasy land for them. Others take out life's frustrations on those on the internet because if they said those things to others in real life there would be severe consequences.

But if you say “you’re dumb” rather than giving the reasons why I’m dumb. I will pull out my virtual keyboard AR and smite you
