Who will be IU’s next basketball coach?

there really hasn't been much discussion speculation or polls about it to be honest, most are just rallying around the team, hoping for a successful run in March, and figure that the powers that be will make a wise decision

Probably not, since he turned down UK last year, but I can't imagine he wants to stay with the Bulls while they rebuild and not sure how in demand he will be in the NBA after having such little success in OKC and Chicago, but I'm sure he will find another NBA job if that's what he wants

Here now........I would not be pissed about a BB hire. I know several on here don't see the potential, but I would not be disappointed.
It's funny - if you look at their histories, McDermott is really just a super tall discount version of Crean.
The guy who runs the 247 site for UT says he’s been hearing Drew is the heavy favorite for a while. Interest from both sides.

There's more smoke/discussion concerning Drew on 247 and BTBs than there is on this site.
That's a good thing noise means nothing. I do believe been saying since last week its Drew. If not Drew it's TJ.

They don’t know anything. No one does. Dolson isn’t allowing any loose lips. And we’re almost certainly not getting BS. 5% chance imo. That said, if he was taking the job I would expect things to play out exactly as they have been.
Don’t know a lot about about him, but his coaching career record doesn’t stand out to me. Pretty decent, but still below

Sorry Kyser, I didn’t see your post before I put mine in after yours. I totally agree with you. I don’t just want a coach who knows basketball. I want a coach who is going to get his players to WANT to work hard and win. Players who are focused because of their coach.
He could have a $1 buyout and it wouldn't matter. I'm not sure why Cronin's name is still being thrown around ... or ever was.
