Is he waiting to see if we lose tonight so he can get on here and post a bunch of shit with an exclamation point at the end? Did his mom ground him from the Internet?

Winning the NIT is only better than losing the NIT...In the event that IU wins the NIT, I’m fully expecting to see comments saying that it’s proof that Archie is a terrible coach and IU is doomed

There’s not much else to be prideful of in it, or to make of it.
Winning > losing...we just didnt do it enough this season to make THE tournament...

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Invitation_TournamentYou're right! Improving as a team does nothing! I'm sure winning the NIT did nothing for the women's team that had to replace two of the best in program history and won their first round tourney game this year. It, also, doesn't show progress from last year when we didn't make any tourney or they year before when we lost in the first round of the NIT to Georgia Tech. Give me a break...

How’d it do for Penn State last year? Or TCU the year before? Or George Washington before that when they knocked off the powerhouse of Valpo? You're right! Improving as a team does nothing! The real tournament is back on Thursday. The one we used to play in every single year.
The sad thing is that it will never end. He does this for football too, and then he will be back for basketball again and on and and on...The saddest thing about this season is that some actually care about what fpeaugh (and it's many alias) think.
Victim trollI only said it once...it takes three times
fpeaugh fpeaugh....it’s sad that I knew who you were talking about without a second thought. Please don't Beetlejuice the forum.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen. The saddest thing about this season is that some actually care about what fpeaugh (and it's many alias) think.
It’s the equivalent of a participation trophy. In Little League baseball I don’t mind it but this is major D1 basketball. You are such a quitter. Yes IU had a bad stretch of games and lost 12 of 13. Nobody is happy about it but the team is continuing on and has not quit.
Who cares about those schools. But if you want to play that game.....
How did it do for Wichita St. in 2011. The following year they made the NCAA then followed that year up with a Final 4 appearance.
IU and purdue were in the NIT title game in 1979 then what happened next. Purdue goes to final 4 one year later then IU wins title 2 years later.
IU goes to NIT in 85. Make NCAA in 86 then wins title in 87.
Even if it means nothing the following year, archie has a lot Frosh and sophs that need playing time and be a round an a culture that does well in tourney play. Maybe they can have some fun after frustrating season if they can win tonight and earn a trip to NY. Davis and even Green are trying to be leaders. Who would of ever thought that. This about the kids on the team and not bunch of grumps on the internet who think they know it all about basketball. Also it is good to see the solid fan support at the games.
