When will yall finally admitting defeat.

IU has it's racist past. Oscar Robertson went to Cincy because of racism at IU. I heard him say it. It was our loss. My Dad said he was the greatest high school player he ever saw. And my Dad saw the movie, "Hoosiers". Oscar was better than Jimmy.
Yep there certainly weren't any racists in Cincinnati back in those days. I would say Jackie Robinson would have begged to differ.

You can't eradicate racism from people's hearts if they don't want to get rid of it. But you can keep it from being institutionalized. Robertson said they didn't want him because he was black. This was the mid 50's or a bit later. Of course IU fans were the ones who paid the price for it. Who knows how good IU would have been if we had Oscar Robertson?

Robertson said they didn't want him because he was black. Where / when did you read this? Robertson went to Cincy in the fall of 1956. Prior to Oscar going to Cincy, Bill Garrett, a decade earlier, and Hallie Bryant, from Oscar's high school, a starter at IU in the early 1950s, were both Afro-Americans. There were others prior to the fall of 1957 when four Afro-Americans, Walter Bellamy, Herbie Lee, Leroy Johnson and Leroy Gable enrolled at IU and played freshman ball (no freshman were allowed to play varsity at that time.) Just asking.

This crimson and cream or cream and crimson business has me confused. How come we don’t play in school colors? It’s red and white or white and red. How did Coach Knight get away with this alteration; of course red and white looks much better, but still—it’s kind of weird to me. What other school does this?

I didn't read it. Oscar said it in an interview.

Why guy? This is a child. IU fans no reason to even respond to a child. Its easy to hide behind social networks and insult and act tuff. No matter who or what team they root for. This childish act is only d

You "maybe?"

Shoot, Chanel's Aunt Bess speaks better than you and she ain't got no tongue from chewin tobacco.
Lol, another white trash joke. If you’re trying to trigger me, it won’t happen. I don’t know you on rafters, but I’ve never attacked you. As for the she troll, nobody knows who that skank is, she did it on our board as well. I am just here for conversation, believe it or not, I’m actually somewhat respected here because I don’t troll. If you want to take shots at me fine, if they are funny I’ll laugh right along with you.
