What the hell?

show me my post where i said anything about resignations

But this is the type of stuff that happens when the president prioritizes blind loyalty over actual experience. Learning on the job shouldn't really be happening at this level.
'You' haven't. You, as in your side, certainly has.

Don't be disingenuous.

I hear this about egg prices, so I asked my wife who doesn't 95 percent of the shopping, and she says the prices have not come down yet.

This says they're at record high prices:

I expect they will come down soon as they get this bird flu under control and reconstitute egg laying flocks.
Gas prices aren't down either. Up this week vs last and vs last month. They are down vs the same time last year. But they are trending back up.

We don't even know if he was using a govt issued phone.
Gabbard would not say if she was using a personal phone or government:

Gabbard declined to say whether she was using her private or her government phone for the leaked text exchanges on Signal, telling Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., that she would refrain from saying more pending a government review of the episode.
Reed said he was puzzled by her answer. “What is under review? It’s a very simple question: Were you using a private phone or officially issued phone? What could be under review?”
Gabbard replied, “The National Security Council is reviewing all aspects of how this came to be, how the journalist was inadvertently added to the group chat and what occurred within that chat across the board.”

I see a conspiracy theory around the board that Gates is a mole for having Goldberg in his phone. Here, I'll run a counter-conspiracy. Gates has fed Goldberg false information for the administration so the administration can do their "they are lying about us" schtick.

See how easy this is. Now someone, prove it wrong?

Pete was stupid and careless. I have group chats by texts with friends. You can see at the top how many are on it. I have WhatsApp chats with old teammates. Literally tells you the number of people in the chat. He wasn’t thinking and fired off the text without checking who was on the list. Careless. He should have just said he was embarrassed by the oversight and won’t let it happen again

For sure.

This thing wouldn't be half as big if they would have just said, yeah, that's our bad. We'll definitely fix this going forward.

It would still be bad, but not owning up to their mistake is making them look real bad.

That's against Trump's nature. It's deny deny deny then victim card when people don't buy it. I'm sure his loyal followers are just picking up the strategy that has worked so well.

It’s politicians. Biden is sharp as razor. Every time harris’ lips moved she was lying. Walz lied about insanely stupid shit that didn’t matter to anyone. Politicians suck

Heard him say with my own ears that JG was in his contacts. It’s possible he thought JG was someone else, but he added all the participants to that group.
If he truly didn't think JG was in his contacts, I wonder if he has had any other conversations with JG without realizing who it was. Maybe he was the leak without even knowing it.

Obviously. Only the lemmings are trying to wave this away. It's actually kind of funny.
After a couple days of myopically observing this thread, I was snapped out to a 1000-foot level by European friends who were belly laughing about this. Here’s the biggest bully of all representing big, bad America making a fool of himself with his amateur-hour underlings, compromising their own world-class intelligence as they prepare to pulverize the tiny Houthis.

It’s interesting, much of the world has a deep-seated, profound respect for the beacon of freedom but no one likes a bully.

Have to admit, it is hilarious from the outside.

In an odd way, Donald Trump being the laughingstock of the world humanizes the American experiment.

There has never been a European President, other than Obama, that Europeans have liked. They view all Americans as unsophisticated doofuses who only care about making money.

They don't like his views on Ukraine now, but I had several friends from Ireland, Switzerland, and the UK who eventually came to admire Trump in his first term. Trust me - he gets more popular with more immigrant crime happening there. Conservatives have gained ground in elections there lately.

No doubt agent orange gave voice to many Americans, as well as Europeans, especially those who feel threatened in some fashion by immigrants. Europe got totally inundated by immigrants from the Middle East over the last decade.

I’m not saying that these people disrespect Trump. They respect the United States as the beacon on the hill. They know there’s two sides to the United States. The CIA for example has been a sort of bully over the last 70 years so they’re able to respect the United States while still laughing at foolish blunders. That’s the point about humanizing democracy. As successful and amazing as the United States is, it still has its warts. And countries that aspire to achieve what we have achieved are encouraged when they realize that even our president is just another guy.
