What the heck on Antonio Allen?

I'm not sure I understand this but, what the heck? He's a young man. I hope things go well for him and he can get his life on the right track.

Surprised AA is not at the other ISU with Tre, David and others.

Tom Brady is getting more scrutiny for possibly deflating footballs than AA from got from ISU for his "transgressions".

I find it amusing that the ISU coach had to call Wilson to get the details. Wasn't this a national news story?

While its national news story, its not like all the details are widely available. The prosecutor and police probably aren't going to release much to ISU, and ISU probably wanted to hear from people outside Allen and his family/attorney.

My guess is that ISU wanted to know if there was anything additional that lead to the final decision of Allen's dismissal that wasn't publicly disclosed and to get perspective on his work ethic and interaction with teammates.

Well, ISU needs a good due diligence story that they can repeat to the parents of prospects when they ask about ISU recruiting players who sell heroin and cocaine.

Yeah, if I had a freshman student going there, I would not be happy they brought him on campus. That said, I hope he can get his life in order.

All that aside, and he may have some positive traits, it's still pretty cut and dried: the kid was caught selling hardcore drugs and felony charges. I don't think even Mother Teresa could make up for that.

ISU's coach and AA aren't grasping reality. If I were the AD at ISU, I'd
say no freaking way..
