What do you miss about college life the most?

They always say that college life was the best part of our lives. So what is it you miss?

1. Cheap alcohol -- those happy hours in Bloomington were amazing. Beer jugs, Margarita pitchers etc.
2. Inexpensive pussy -- nowadays you have to wine & dine and hopefully not say politically incorrect things before you get the good housekeeping seal and nooky. It seems like the older you get the more expensive it is to get laid. But the quality is a lot better after college.
3. Not having to worry about bills as much.

Growing up sux big time.
I'm with you completely. Life is good but nothing compares to that time. Carefree. Away from home for the first time. High capacity bladder. Sleep anywhere at anytime. No heartburn. Eat anything. Loved big shitty bars. Penny Pitchers. Contests. Skirt flirt. Wet T shirt. Bare as you dare. Do they even do that stuff anymore? Spring Breaks. 6% body fat. Limited bills. Video games. NHL 94. No aches. No pains. Team bus rides. Games. Practice. The bars after a Saturday night game. School itself. Learning new stuff. Just on and on and on

I miss going to the IU basketball games and watching the Hoosiers win just about every home game. During the four years I was at IU (1972-76), the Hoosiers only lost a total of 13 games--at least I think that's the right number. They went unbeaten and won it all my senior year and still are the last team to do that in college basketball. Those were wonderful years.

Lucky you. The best of bball times.

The poor kids today -- they are living off the past like a History Channel to keep themselves pumped about bball.

I miss the almost total lack of responsibility - All you had to do was show up to classes enough to get decent grades and you would still have plenty of time to play basketball every day and hang out with your friends all the time. I guess it's the time I miss the most - seemed like you had a lot of spare time back then.
+1

no responsibility days now are few and far between

I have no kids, divorced a long time ago. My life essential hasn't changed since college.

Kids is the cause of the stress... Yet they feel entitled

I’ll add a few more memories from my HPER all-star bball days at IU.

Played with Pat Ewing Jr quite a bit my frosh year at SRSC. He’d just show up by himself and was fun to play with.

Played with Rod Wilmont at the HPER several times. He’d just pull up when he passed half court. Not much fun but nice guy - also was at parties with him a few times.

Played at AH in intramural finals one year. We lost but still fun.

AJ Moye returned to campus one week and I got to run the court with him at the HPER. And he remembered me from a HS bball camp at IU about four years prior.

I played poker with rod and he got pissed when everyone would correct him on chips he needed to put in ona certain bet. Ewing jr banged my friends future wife before he met her. I feel sorry for him to this day, little white Jew, I know she wishes for one more night of big daddy ew. Lol

I played against Joe Hillman at the HPER several times. He must've lived in a "regular" dorm his freshman year because it sure seemed like he was coming with his dorm mates. I loved trying to cover him, I'd never had to guard someone so far from the basket, and feel like he could shoot comfortably out to about 24'. He was a little easier to guard on a fast break because his teammates were always going to give him the ball so you knew where it was going.

I also played with a grad student who'd been a PG for the women's team. I loved playing with her because she was so great at getting you the ball where you needed it to score. Super solid for a pick up PG.
