What a complete joke of a program

Stewart, Kopp, XJ, and Bates are all legitimate perimeter shooters.

He has no shooters in the pipeline sans Gabe Cupps, who isn’t an immediate impact player.

JHS is a great prospect and will do well here immediately (unless Woodson buries him on the bench like Bates), but he shoots 27% in high school from 3.

Banks will be a solid 4 year player, but can’t be relied upon to be a shooter for us next year.

Gunn is just a lowly ranked guard that is no different than any we had during Archie (oh wait, he’s an Archie recruit….). He only shoots 37% in high school. Could be solid as a Junior or Senior in a role player type role.

Newton is a good prospect, but not known as a shooter.
Hare you seem Bates, Stewart, and Kopp? They might’ve been touted as good shooters, but haven’t delivered. Stewart did early, but not in the B1G.

Bates - 29% (was 36% before his minutes/role was reduced)
Stewart - 41%
Kopp -37%
Johnson - 37%

Facts are facts.

He plays literally every game where there is enough players with all subs on the floor together. Basically any time Durr is in the game.
That’s false. Stop with the BS. Assertions aren’t facts. Today, by the way, IU erased most of their 17 point deficit with 3 non-starters on the floor. Must mean genius coaching, right?

We were -6 with the 4 subs and Stewart in the game.

It’s also not false. It hasn’t happened recently because Galloway and RP were hurt.

You started posts on both this board and Peegs, about the team’s play, and now you are going all holier than thou. At least my opinion on the team doesn’t change based off 1 game (or 1 half actually). GFY.

And RP and Galloway missed 25 games between them this season. Do you not take that into account for some of the close losses? Those two are valuable defenders and add a lot to the team dynamic. Instead you continually blame Woodson “and his nba offense” for everything.

Do you at least acknowledge that this is the best defensive team IU has had in years?

Every team gets injuries.

This is the best defensive team we’ve had in years. This is also one of the worst offensive teams we have seen.

The fans stay fans. The Negative Whine Club shuts up when IU wins because they don't have much to whine about and that's what they live for. It takes a special level of immaturity to whine like children as much as the Club does. Right?
The fan comment has nothing to do whatsoever with someone’s outlook on a team. Fan -a passionate devotee (as of a sport or a performing art) usually as a spectator.

Rainbows and Unicorns 🌈🦄 or The Negative Nancies 😞 it makes no difference because they are all “fans” by definition. Certainly highly involved. Certainly invest a lot of time watching and following the program, both camps. Both sides are devotees. Look at the amount of devotion fans have had in posting one take or another on the state of the program. Fans are not defined by their outlook on the program. That very component is missing from the definition

If you’re a fan you’re a miserable one. How can a constantly negative person actually enjoy being a fan? I don’t relate.

I see that I triggered your PTSD again?

Get off your high horse you buffoon. I’ve sat through more IU games live, in the flesh, in multiple sports than you could hope to attend in 10 lifetimes. Hotels, car trips, flights, tickets, gas, concessions, parking passes. It would break your bank account3 times over. Stay in your lane, junior.

Well there is no amount of attending IU or multiple teams sports events that would put a dent in my bank account son. But attending events has nothing at all to do with the inability to find some joy when this coach/team wins.

I believe his overall point was while by Websters you are correct and some may be fans of IU overall, if you say nothing (or very little) in support of this team or coach even when they have success and coninue to bash and talk shit about anything and everything you can find…. Some might still call them a fan overall, most would at best consider them a troll who just wants to aggravate those rooting for this team, and at worst not consider them a fan of this basketball program right now.

Do you go alone? I can’t imagine it being an enjoyable experience sitting next to you and listening to your constant whining. If IU was down 10 in the first half you’d say, “This team, the coach, the Athletic Department and IU sucks! Let’s get out of here!” Loads of fun.

Not this tired old argument again. People watching at home complaining about who's playing are generally wrong. But that won't stop you, I'm sure.
There is no difference between watching at home and watching on TV. I have season tickets, but sold them shortly before Christmas as we decided to Winter in Florida.

You don't winter anywhere. You're TrojanFan004 some 20 something year old kid. Who are you kidding?

Several of you have reading comprehension issues. I never root for IU to lose you dolt. I get upset when they do lose and I’ll call it out and just when they win, like the other day, I’ll say it was a good game.

Ha!

Millenial know-it-all alert!!!!

you have to put in the time, junior!

I would think being the progressive millennial that you, you’d take a hard look at your handle and stop calling anybody “your boy. “

are you caught in some 1962 time warp in Montgomery Alabama?
I’m not…I repeat not a millennial. Born in 74. Boomer. Now go sit back down on your doughnut. Your roids and prostate are probably the size of a fruit bowl. Stop showing your age you bigot.
