IU is clearly a very poorly coached team. We make other teams look like each are the best coached teams in the country.
It's really that simple. Having Woodson and Hill on the bench has to be malpractice. Friends cut from the same cloth. Both worthless coaching basketball.IU is clearly a very poorly coached team. We make other teams look like each are the best coached teams in the country.
Which the goal from late 90s to now has been complete. To devalue the basketball program slowly. And they have achieved 100%.It’s a culture issue.
NIL at the level that our boosters use it, brings its own sort of issues and challenges. And, that feeds into the culture issues.
Clearly Woodson isn’t the answer, but the problems are far deeper than our head coach. And now the boosters have much more power and control over our program. And that feeds into the new culture that the program has become.
I don't disagree, but this backcourt is not talented. Rice had been dominated in each game. Carlyle plays hard but is a terrible shooter. The misevaluation of those two alone should be enough to send Woody into the sunset.IU is clearly a very poorly coached team. Correct. But Chirs Reynolds played hard and was a terrible shooter but he was a starter on a final four team.Carlyle plays hard but is a terrible shooter.
So Myles Brand and Murray Sperber won. That sucks.Which the goal from late 90s to now has been complete. To devalue the basketball program slowly. And they have achieved 100%.
Also helped that Chris had all B1G/AA talent in the backcourt with him. And some of the best players ever seen in the BIG in the front court.Correct. But Chirs Reynolds played hard and was a terrible shooter but he was a starter on a final four team.
If you want to look at the problem start with Reneau and Mgbako not playing defense.
Was it misevaluation or panic? I think I remember at the time they were signed or verbally agreed to play at IU, Woodson had missed on ever guard they had as a prospect. The list of good P4 guards was decreasing. Yet in Pac12 games last year each of them had games where they scored more than 30 points. In the two games this week, Rice has simply been overpowered twice and Carlyle looks like he just started to play the game.I don't disagree, but this backcourt is not talented. Rice had been dominated in each game. Carlyle plays hard but is a terrible shooter. The misevaluation of those two alone should be enough to send Woody into the sunset.
And Mac was awful the last two days, just awful.
Don't the boosters wanna win? It’s a culture issue.

Exactly. They wouldn’t be spending this kind of money to slowly sink the program on purpose. That can be done for freeDon't the boosters wanna win?
sure, but winning may mean different things to different people.Don't the boosters wanna win?
Lots of opinions on what the real issue is and why. I'll still say Quinn said YES on this season and that was that unfortunately.sure, but winning may mean different things to different people.
Example:
You are a booster that is paying a starting center on IU $2 million. Can you see a scenario where IU is terrible but you are thrilled with the investment? Can you see a scenario where it’s more important to you to see the player do well than to see the team do well? How would you feel as the owner of the player to see him benched, or to see another player take all his minutes?
Is it possible that boosters have been thrilled with how the last few seasons have gone? Hint: have you watched an NBA draft?
