Well, it isn't a talent deficit...

It’s a culture issue.

NIL at the level that our boosters use it, brings its own sort of issues and challenges. And, that feeds into the culture issues.

Clearly Woodson isn’t the answer, but the problems are far deeper than our head coach. And now the boosters have much more power and control over our program. And that feeds into the new culture that the program has become.

Which the goal from late 90s to now has been complete. To devalue the basketball program slowly. And they have achieved 100%.

IU is clearly a very poorly coached team. We make other teams look like each are the best coached teams in the country.
I don't disagree, but this backcourt is not talented. Rice had been dominated in each game. Carlyle plays hard but is a terrible shooter. The misevaluation of those two alone should be enough to send Woody into the sunset.

And Mac was awful the last two days, just awful.

Ballo is actually playing pretty hard but looks like a 20-25 minute max contributor. His rebound numbers will go down this season because the opposition is taking lay ups and there are not many misses to collect.

Correct. But Chirs Reynolds played hard and was a terrible shooter but he was a starter on a final four team.

If you want to look at the problem start with Reneau and Mgbako not playing defense.

Also helped that Chris had all B1G/AA talent in the backcourt with him. And some of the best players ever seen in the BIG in the front court.

And he was a tenacious defender who played under control on both ends of the court.

Was it misevaluation or panic? I think I remember at the time they were signed or verbally agreed to play at IU, Woodson had missed on ever guard they had as a prospect. The list of good P4 guards was decreasing. Yet in Pac12 games last year each of them had games where they scored more than 30 points. In the two games this week, Rice has simply been overpowered twice and Carlyle looks like he just started to play the game.
