We learned one thing today

Michigan will have several future NFL players on the field. As the talent levels ramp up, I worry about protecting Rourke, can we stop the run? I think we have the best O-line in the conference, but this will be our next test of that.

Their 2 DTs and that CB, yes I agree and maybe RB Donavan Edwards. But their talent level is way down this year when compared to last year.....no where close

Let me put it this way.....

The line for Ohio State vs Indiana game was OSU -14.5. Our win was so convincing, that Ohio State beat #3 Penn State, and the line still moved down to OSU -10.5.
The problem is that OSU can explode on you at any given time and has already played some top teams so are kind of battle tested. That OSU defense is LEGIT. They have the depth to rotate several players in the game and by the 4th quarter, the other team is worn down.

MSU has had one of the better ground games lately in the B10. At one point in the 4th quarter today they were averaging less than a yard per carry. IU can stop the run! Also, Rourke is the least sacked QB in the B10. IU can protect the quarterback!

I’ve watched them. They have problems on offense. They don’t want a shootout.
Their defense is - by far - their strength and are projected to have 9 players drafted off the defense in next year's draft. Believe it, Indiana's offense will see pressure when they play OSU. Their OL - decimated by injuries - is their weakness. And the game is at OSU which will be deafening,

Indiana's dline needs to tee off on their oline. Indiana has the horses to do just that!!

Their secondary is also vulnerable. They will be the best we have seen but we will be the best too. This game just got more interesting and I’m all in.

We need to stop Mich run game and double cover Loveland while putting pressure on their qb! I have faith that our O will find the open holes in Michigans D! I do think they will try to slow down our quick rpo screens, but then we can beat them deep! The only issue I see getting in IUs way are the 🦓! Hope they can give us a fair chance!

Projected is meaningless. It's what the team does together. They're good and will be the best defense we have played but they're certainly beatable....as they have lost. Their offense is not great because their OL is awful. They have lots of weapons at the skill positions but when your OL is bad, we know from experience, the offense can still be awful.

I went and looked at your schedule up to this point. It's crappy. There are no ranked teams except for OSU.
That crappy Nebraska team that we destroyed should have beaten your ass at the 'shoe. OSU didn't exactly look like world-beaters yesterday against a PSU team that may be the most overrated football team in America.

I'm not OSU. I'm Northwestern and you're in for a rude awakening on 11/23.

So, since you blew out Nebraska and OSU struggled with them, I imagine you're going to give me points if I take that crappy OSU team. How many are you giving me?

Gee, thanks for sounding the alarm on Ohio State. The team we have played almost every year for decades. It’s groundbreaking to learn they’re very good.
IU has played OSU, Michigan, Penn State and MSU every year. Northwestern, has not. So why on earth does a NW fan think we don't know OSU....better than a NW fan.

NW has benefited from a soft B1G West schedule for a long time and once things leveled off....suddenly they're trash. Go figure.
