Too many turnovers again and horrid shooting. I expected some drop off after losing Mac, but they have fallen off a cliff.

Frustrating after the huge momentum built up over the past few seasons. IU can be one of the WBB powerhouses, we'll see how Teri learns/adjusts.Too many turnovers again and horrid shooting. I expected some drop off after losing Mac, but they have fallen off a cliff.
I think this team gets a lot better over the next 10 games. They have the core.Frustrating after the huge momentum built up over the past few seasons. IU can be one of the WBB powerhouses, we'll see how Teri learns/adjusts.
The issue is Moren was not able to translate that success into recruiting. IU's recruiting has been middle of the pack in conference at best and there have been no big time transfers since Parrish and she is struggling mightily without Holmes in the middle drawing the defenses attention.Frustrating after the huge momentum built up over the past few seasons. Hmmmm... 10 game allowance... 1 for each year coaching... Does this apply to all coaches?I think this team gets a lot better over the next 10 games. They have the core.
Yeah, but we've lost 2 "program leading, generational type" players in Grace and Mackenzie in the last 2 years. Syd, CMM and Garzon are all great players but haven't been vocal leaders. Was hoping one of them would step up or the transfers were, but I think that's probably what the team is suffering from more than anything. Frankly, it's what a lot of our men's teams have suffered from over the last 10 years. I think that's gonna be fixed with Rice this year, but it takes more than talent to make a great team. Something RMK and Painter have understood well, and I don't think our recent spate of men's coaches really have.Frustrating after the huge momentum built up over the past few seasons. In a great girls bball state like Indiana, I've often wondered why Moren hasn't been able to recruit better. The issue is Moren was not able to translate that success into recruiting. I believe she just received a commitment or signed the best player in the state, plus another highly ranked player. In a great girls bball state like Indiana, I've often wondered why Moren hasn't been able to recruit better.
yeah she's got 2 goods ones coming in next year but overall since she's been here she hasn't done that well in her home state.I believe she just received a commitment or signed the best player in the state, plus another highly ranked player.
I believe Faith Wiseman was at or near the top of of Indiana High School rankings last year. That said, she's a LONG way from being any help.yeah she's got 2 goods ones coming in next year but overall since she's been here she hasn't done that well in her home state.
Most freshman do need time.I believe Faith Wiseman was at or near the top of of Indiana High School rankings last year. That said, she's a LONG way from being any help.
She was 61 nationally. 22 freshmen in the Big Ten this year were ranked ahead of her including 5 to USCal and 3 to UCLA. UMich got two, both top 20. Iowa pulled two above her including AJ Guyton's daughter and then two more lower top 100 girlsI believe Faith Wiseman was at or near the top of of Indiana High School rankings last year. Sorry, thought it was obvious, Moren is not keeping up with the top teams in the league in recruiting. This is a pretty typical result for her efforts. 13 of the 18 Big Ten teams brought in at least one higher ranked girl than IU did, including Rutgers and Northwestern. What's your point?
Agreed. She only got a few minutes in the exhibition and in the Brown game. It's hard to see her even as a rotation player this season. Most freshman do need time.
Yes, it was obvious. Your point was to bash Moren. You should worry more about your coach up north. As we've seen with our current football roster, rankings usually are unpredictable and meaningless. A PU fan should understand this.Sorry, thought it was obvious, Moren is not keeping up with the top teams in the league in recruiting. Bottom line. Teri's here for the long haul. IU women's bb is in good hands. She was 61 nationally. 22 freshmen in the Big Ten this year were ranked ahead of her including 5 to USCal and 3 to UCLA.
