Yes I do. But I don't have cable or satellite. Good memory my friend. I am proud I have never had a DVR. It's a badge of courage.

The bigger mistakes were hiring Grigson and Pagano. Grigson is probably the worst GM in NFL history and Chuck is the NFLs Tom Allen.

What a bunch of shit. It's time to start boycotting the BTN. It started with the preseason games and now regular season games.
They wont see a dime from me. It's already fraudulant considering it's a state funded school. In regards to watching in state that is.

Thanks for the information. I will check that out. I asked the DirecTV installer and he said no when I asked him about that option. Maybe he just didn't know.

The TV set up to record has a component between the DVD recorder and the DVR. My son said it is critical to the process and was purchased from a company in Israel. I assume it allows recording things that aren't supposed to be recorded. I don't want to know anymore about it, but he removed it if the cable company was coming out. The source setting on the TV in this arrangement is set to video.

That's great information. Even with a DVD recorder it may be tricky to find the vital component that links the DVR and DVD. So if someone had that, could they directly record on the DVD right from the receiver?
