As many of the talking heads have said:This is good and somewhat expected news. A few thoughts...
I'm not sure if PSU is justified being a 6 seed if IU is an 11 seed. They beat Illinois who gave up 49 points to Purdue and no quality wins.
Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois and that should severely penalize them.
Clemson has two losses and no quality wins. A win against South Carolina would make things interesting but they should still be out.
The Georgia/Georgia Tech and Texas/TAM games could be interesting too.
Overall, I don't see IU being pushed out unless the committee wants us out.
How is Boise St. A 4 seed?I would take this in a second. OSU, Oregon and Georgia on the opposite side of the bracket.
Easier to do in basketball than it is in football. I think it would be very rare for that to happen in football, yet in basketball there seems to be at least one game that could happen.Because 15s beating 2s and the occasional 16 beating a 1 (I'm looking at you, Purdue) is one of the most exciting occurrences in sports.
I think the top 5 SEEDS, are in order of ranking and have won their conference championship game. How is Boise St. A 4 seed?
Because they are the 4th highest rated projected conference champion (ahead of highest rated B12 team)How is Boise St. A 4 seed?
