Watching the SEC title game and while it is clear that they have plenty of depth, I am continually unimpressed by the performance of Texas and I find Georgia to be extremely inconsistent. Plenty of dropped balls, holding penalties, and lackluster execution. Both teams are totally loaded, but they are showing why we don’t choose the college football playoff teams on signing day.

I am hoping that one of the SEC teams has to travel through Columbus because I don’t think they will fare any better than what we did a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah but they're playing a 13th game. You can't punish teams for making a conf championship. If IU had the tie breaker vs Penn State and we're playing in the B1G title game, we would still be ranked #9 and if we lost to Oregon, we would need to fall out? They can't set that precedent.

Not too long ago I saw someone compare IU and TX and their schedules when IU still wasn’t getting much love in the polls. I wouldn’t be opposed to playing them.

Title games should count. The conferences choose whether to have them or not. Use all the evidence.
