UNC Greensboro prediction thread

UNC has some solid athletes for their conference but I hope to see a hot start and atleast a 10-12 halftime pt lead and hopefully a 2nd half like we saw vs Eastern Illinois.
I'm gonna go somewhere in the middle:

Indiana 84- Chatt 67.

NDHuntington reminds us how bad we are this early in the season. Woild like to see 9 steals between Carlyle & Tucker.

Mgabko continues with the impressive offensive show with 22.
Would also like to stick to the 8 man roster until comfortably ahead (hopefully in early-mid 2nd half) then Cupps, Hatton & Newton.

By the numbers, we've been pretty good defending the 3. But we sure can look bad against teams that spread it out, and move the ball around a lot. Honestly don't know if UNCG does that, but they do take and make a good amount of 3s. One of those games where if we do run them off the line effectively well, we'll probably handle them easily. If they are a team that moves it around a lot, and gets us in to rotations, they could hit a bunch of 3s on us and keep the game very close.

No clue. Hope those that Bet IU win their bet!

He put the efficiency killing lineup in. Good way the fk up our NET rating.

Why? You do that after having a huge lead at the end of the game, not in the middle of a run. lol ...

I will root for IU but Woodson is indeed horrible. We will be continue to be underwhelming with him as coach - don't care what talent he gets (buys). Worst substitution patterns and offense still runs through post. Middle of pack team

Do you watch the game? Inconsistent play was caused by putting inconsistent players on the floor in combination. The correct players have been fairly consistent and sharp.

If you're going to complain about something it's better if you know what the fk you're talking about otherwise you're just whining.

Wow, do we have a “true fan” here actually admitting that Woody’s substitution patterns are awful?

You can tell Hummel is as disgusted as we are. What do we work on in practice? Terrible effort overall.

I feel for season ticket holders. Crappy play against bad teams. No energy in Assembly Hall.

Every season will be a rinse repeat of the prior season. I don’t care what our roster looks like or is constructed. We will strigggle to finish in the top 5 of the conference and will be a 7-10 seed in the tourney. Cig came in at a great time. He is going to fill the void the fanbase has been craving for 25 years, it’s just in a different sport. May not be a bad thing, but I truly do not see IU basketball ever retiring to the level we once were or where Kansas, UNC, Duke, etc are. It’s just not going to happen. Easier to accept it than hope for it.

The right coach changes everything. Dolson needs to use the same analytics he used to hire Cignetti when he hires the next basketball coach.
