It's all about the Benjamins. And the B1G's got 'em.I think it is crazy. But I guess there is a reason they have never made me B10 Commish.

Left handed sports I bet will play regional and maybe not the entire conference or something. It would almost make sense to just separate football and basketballYep, but thinking a bit more, the big sport athletes are now being paid so I don't care that they get back at 5AM for an 8AM class.
But the kids in the other sports are stuck with that too.
Yeah, I don't think it's about the athlete anymore, do you?Yep, but thinking a bit more, the big sport athletes are now being paid so I don't care that they get back at 5AM for an 8AM class.

Nope, not even close. I've felt for a while that colleges should get out of big athletics. Make everything a club sport with no scholly's. Too many people are making way too much money and the NCAA has no power to do anything to prevent cheating (see Kansas).Yeah, I don't think it's about the athlete anymore, do you?
Agree 100%Nope, not even close. I've felt for a while that colleges should get out of big athletics. Make everything a club sport with no scholly's. Too many people are making way too much money and the NCAA has no power to do anything to prevent cheating (see Kansas).
I wouldn't want to play soccer at UCLA and now have conf games at Maryland and Rutgers and Penn st Ohio st etcNope, not even close. I'm sure they wouldn't schedule them back-to-back. Probably arrange the schedule so there would be a Western swing, Midwest, and East. Sort of regional, as you suggested.I wouldn't want to play soccer at UCLA and now have conf games at Maryland and Rutgers and Penn st Ohio st etc
I hate all the expansion.I'm sure they wouldn't schedule them back-to-back. Probably arrange the schedule so there would be a Western swing, Midwest, and East. Sort of regional, as you suggested.
Yes U wouldI wouldn't want to play soccer at UCLA and now have conf games at Maryland and Rutgers and Penn st Ohio st etc
The Rose Bowl committee must love this one. UCLA and Cal in the Rose Bowl. Meh.
I do too. I loved the B1G when it was just the Big Ten and you could play a round-robin schedule in BB and FB.I hate all the expansion.
Miami's incoming qb landed a $9.5 million dollar nil deal. Few more years of price increases and there will be no point to risk your body and mind in the nfl. Few years of college and retire. It will be interesting to see the cultural difference between the SEC and B1G, which is already in evidence.
SEC=win at all costs
B1G=win but do it by the rules and maintain a high academic standard
I think we should swap O$U for Vanderbilt - culturally, Vandy is a better fit in the B1G and O$U is clearly in the SEC camp.

You forgot COMCAST!he’d just be a tool of Wall Street.
they’d have him doing all of their bidding in order to keep all Americans under their oppressive thumbs and to further fill their coffers.
signed, IGW
Yeah, how can they do that. They're part of the same university system right?Surprised to see UCLA and Cal separate
They are indeedYeah, how can they do that. They're part of the same university system right?
Well, Cal just got relegated to IU-East status. Yikes. They are indeed
Maybe they will follow to the big 17 or whateverWell, Cal just got relegated to IU-East status. Yikes.
Mountain West conference right nowMaybe they will follow to the big 17 or whatever
I think more Big 12Mountain West conference right now
Remember when Coach Knight was mad about playing an ESPN game at Wisconsin or somewhere like that on a Tuesday night? His has been a bygone era for a long time, but NIL and this type of conference realignment is making even moreso.Yep, but thinking a bit more, the big sport athletes are now being paid so I don't care that they get back at 5AM for an 8AM class.

My guess is the the remaining Big XII and PAC 12 teams form a conference.I think more Big 12
Interesting. This will just start another round of all the insanity. Super Conferences. Lame. Trashes rivalriesMy guess is the the remaining Big XII and PAC 12 teams form a conference.
But I bet Kansas eventually joins the B1G - and there are rumblings of some combination of Stanford/Cal/Oregon and Washington doing the same, so that's not saying much.
I heard to make room, pu is being asked to join the MVC.My guess is the the remaining Big XII and PAC 12 teams form a conference.

Worst f king fight song in all of collegiate sports. Could we at least change that?
