Trump's ending the war

He did a nice job. I don't worry about Rubio at all. Solid pick IMO
You realize Rubio is the one who would actually be tasked with hammering out an agreement with Russia? Trump blusters and gives a general direction.

If you have faith in him, have faith in a peace agreement that doesn’t completely undercut Ukraine.

I think this gets wrapped up by the end of the year, if not sooner. This is good news.
No. Trump is not only stupid but ignorant.

The dumbest thing in Trump's post is, "We have a big, beautiful blue Ocean as separation."

Lindbergh promoted the same isolationist thoughts, even though Lindbergh himself had just flown a plane nonstop across the same "big, beautiful blue Ocean" in 1927.

Throughout 1942, ancient, tiny diesel German submarines crossed that same "big, beautiful blue Ocean" and sank 397 cargo ships off the east coast of the US in the first seven months of 1942.

Now, Trump's buddy Putin can direct intercontinental missiles to America's shores and can sink ships on the east coast with antiship missiles launched from aircraft and submarines hundreds of miles away.

Trump is so ignorant that he doesn't realize the Atlantic Ocean offers no protection whatsoever.

You fell for Trump once again.

Exit to add: Putin has also been caught bombarding American social media with cyberwarfare proving once more that the Atlantic Ocean is no protection.

”no protection whatsoever” is just flat wrong. No one is suggesting satellites, ICBM’s, Russian bots (although highly exaggerated), cyber warfare, etc. don’t exist.

Trump is merely saying that our oceans give us the luxury of being largely indifferent towards minor territorial squabbles in Eastern Europe should we choose to be. Russia doesn’t present an immediate military threat. If someone has convinced you otherwise, you’ve been spun.

If we were in Europe, it might be a different story.

Trump is getting a deal done. It needs to end. This happened under mushy peas. Don’t forget that. My god how much would Biden spend of our money to keep it going. This should have ended two years ago. It’s the same shit

So, you're praising Trump and Putin while blaming Biden and Zelensky for Putin's invasion. Brilliant.

Trump did not say "our oceans give us the luxury of being largely indifferent towards minor territorial squabbles in Eastern Europe should we choose to be. Russia doesn’t present an immediate military threat." You're making that up to defend the indefensible.

Your emphasis of "military threat" ignores the economic and cyber threats Putin has been making for the last 3-4 years against both us and our allies.

I’m praising an end of the war
Promises made. Promises kept cosmic
Idiocy promised. Idiocy confirmed.

(However, Trump doesn't have a "deal" yet as you pointed out. Trump is out of his league trying to con Putin. Trump's major point of his book won't work because Putin won't care that Trump is "willing to walk away.")

Remember. None of this happened under trump. Just another mess he’s trying to clean up from Biden’s term

I forget. What was Biden/Harris doing when all this started? Celebrating our tranny heroes with a bare as you dare contest on the White House lawn?m
Don’t bitch about the fireman

What is indefensible? Ending the war in Ukraine?

Russia and to a much larger extent China are both economic and cyber threats. So what? Ukraine needs to continue to burn so they’re no longer threats anymore?

Get serious loser.

As Putin marches on to restore the old Soviet Union "the war" is far from over.
In WW2 Tanks, crewed by criminals and conscripts, so bereft of technology it depends on Iran and N. Korea, horse and donkey propelled, hated by his own people, ruined economy, navy destroyed, oh and only moments from his death bed.....

That Putin? That's your boogeyman?

Saying Putin is not an immediate military threat (as you did) is indefensible.

Your position is analogous to telling the nonagressor, weaker party in a bar fight to just roll over and take it just so you can claim credit for ending the fight.

Sounds like you will celebrate when Putin dies.

Yours is buying him another beer keeping the tab open and hitting him with smelling salts to keep a winless fight going

In your view, what would be the preferred ending be to the Ukrainian conflict? Putin is totally defeated, withdraws all forces and is deposed to be replaced by who? The Russian Emmanuel Macron? Someone who will lead a Russian renaissance of liberal democracy?

Sounds kind of stupid doesn’t it?

Russia doesn’t present an immediate military threat. I’m correct.

You should tell Putin his war is going so badly that he looks like a fool.

Russia's population is nearly five times the population of Ukraine. -- yet Putin has failed to conquer it, even against a "modestly successful comedian" as Trump called him.

You backed one loser in the election. Now, you seem to be backing another loser in a war.

Sounds like you will celebrate when Putin dies.
Recounting the narrative we've heard for the last few years. Libshits always overreach and always want it both ways. Critical thinking is lost on your little posse.
Putin is relatively stable, a known quantity.
His successor is not known. He could be much, much worse.
Not too much to celebrate with a million dead and an economy and infrastructure destroyed for decades.
American jingoism and bullying have created a real mess the last 70 years...I hope we can move towards cleaning it up.
