Trump Zelensky today.....

The only vested interest is equity in 80 years of rigid dogma against Russia.
Trump sees Ukraine as a failed asset bleeding cash that needs to be fixed.
Trump seeks a pragmatic solution, first to stop the killing and infrastructure damage.
Putin understands the existential threat to Russia from the US military-industrial-surveillance clique holding on to as much power as they can. When the Alternative Right succeeds in neutering the jewish neocons infesting American government, progress will be possible.

How should I know? If I could predict the future with multiple variables, I'd be Elon!

What I know is Putin is a horrible person, but a cunning leader. I beleive in keep your friends close and enemies closer.

Might be a good time to befriend Putin/Russia in hopes of the next leaders to build something.

I've hated USSR/Russia for almost 50 yrs. I look back and wonder, what did Russia do to make my life worse. I can't find anything. Now is that because my leaders have kept Russia at bay, or because Russia has not been aggressive. Not sure of the answer.

But I am willing to see us take a new path. I did not choose to serve. A regret, but I just wasn't raised with that mindset. And watching from a position of ignorance for so many years has led me to learn more. And I've learned that my country is not so, ummm, perfect.
All I can say is, we don't live in a vacuum. Having nuclear weapons pointed at you is a fact, even if you don't see them.

Losing friends and family in Vietnam would give you a different perspective, since N. Vietnam was supported by the USSR/Russia. They made many American lives worse.

And before you say we shouldn't have been in Vietnam, I would agree. But you can see how socialism has affected the US. Now imagine if we had a full-blown communist government. Fighting communism, either physically or politically, is in our national interest. We haven't always been perfect, but consider the alternative.

Pulling US out of Syria, Bad mouthing NATO, pulling the U.S. out of the Paris Accord- all are things Trump did in term one that Putin celebrated.
Again what has Trump given Putin? So we pulled out the Paris Accord neither China nor Russia are living up to the agreement. Nor many European countries so why should we continue to pay for this. Bad mouthing NATO but telling other countries they needed to pay their fair share I believe that is the Democrats favorite saying. Not unreasonable. Pulling out of Syria again taking young Americans out of harms way.

lmao Russia was run out of Syria, genius.

Bad mouthing NATO by expecting members to pay their fair share?

Pulling out of a bogus climate agreement has nothing to do with Putin.

Sober up.

When we pulled out of Syria and backstabbed the SDF, they went to the Russian backed Assad regime for assistance, thus giving Russia back the influence in Syria that they had lost in 2013.

lol Whut? Trump destroyed a Russian unit in Syria.

You do know Russia was run out of Syria, right? Why would we be there if Russia is not there?

FYI - we still have bases in Syria.
In a different part of Syria. Guessing you skipped reading the linked article.
