There is no question that Democrats are in bed shitting mode--unorganized, and like a hydra--too many heads doing too many things. A Democrat candidate is going to have to be an Andy Beshear or Josh Shapiro type. It won't be Gavin Newsome--he's smart enough to know he has to move to the middle, but it is so contrived that he looks like his hair--slicked back and looking to take advantage of people. It won't be Tim Walz (a friend of mine --and Republican up in Minnesota said he's a wonderful guy and a nice man. Maybe so, but he looks like Uncle Fester). It won't be AOC either. She has some juice riding off of Bernie's coattails, but she's unamenable to compromise. Crowd sizes are for children. I will stick with my take on this issue when Sarah Palin ran with McCain--huge crowd sizes for Palin all just to hear her yell "communism' over and over. Same deal with Trump and Kamala--crowd sizes are made up of sycophants. Phish used to draw huge crowds too but never broke into the mainstream. If a candidate can come into Detroit and sell out a stadium--that might be something.

Democrats need to flush out 90% of the old guard. They need to not die on every hill (so do republicans, and realize they have no messaging but being Anti-Trump. As strong as that is on some level, it didn't work last time out.

Accordingly, after having a wonderful night sleep thanks to @dbmhoosier and his sound medical advice, I am officially running for President of the United States of America. We are going to bring back helmetless tackle football; Major League Soccer will now have relegation every year; upon high school graduation, every male shall be entitled to a free subscription on pornhub; the water cooler book club will now be included in every state in the Union; Colleges must teach one class on Blue Oyster Cult; and my good friend Elon Musk is going to send the first man to Uranus. My cabinet shall be as follows:

he's a talker not a doer. another aoc. he was home breastfeeding when his dept faced it's biggest challenge. talk talk talk talk. little to point to as accomplishments. stay at home pete has all the stink of the harris/walz/biden squad woke garbage. dems imo need to pick a solid gov. beshear shapiro etc would be totally fine. if they have to stick with identity and focus on minority matters race/equity etc wes moore seems interesting in maryland. a guy who doesn't just talk but looks to have started things to get stuff done if they want to stay left. still woke. big into education. helping minorities. smart. solid education. started businesses. worked in finance in big banks. he's done a lot
