One trick pony ..Or LSU wants to win and Wade can do that. I know it’s becoming a rare thought for some IU fans.

Sorry was trying to write message on phone but your mom had a nice time last night...
WWW was odd because he had no official ties to schools, agents, or shoe companies. In the NCAA's eyes, he was no more than a friend of the players he "advised" A friend or family member without any particular ties can give a player cars, money, food or whatever they want. The NCAA never seemed interested in looking deeper into how he was funding his travel and getting access to programs like UK. He did seem to fall out of the spotlight in the last few years, or since the FBI probe made headlines.Generally speaking, the "support" from shoe companies (or elsewhere) is not actually illegal, just against NCAA rules. However, the means to conceal this support from the NCAA is where the legal issues arise, and what brings in FBI or other law enforcement.
There is still a huge benefit of the NCAA system to players with professional prospects. Whether the benefit is real or perceived is up for debate, but its that benefit that prevents players from completely bypassing the NCAA.
Do we really want someone that is still considering LSU? He has no official visit to IU. Would love to have him but with a roster packed full of forwards, IU might not be the best place for him.
