Too many injuries for this team to compete for B10 title

At 100% healthy. ..
This team would't stand a chance..
The lack of three point shooting on this team .Can never be talked about enough....
Honestly I see it being 3 -5 year's before we're real legit contenders.
I think 3-5 is a little long. We are already cracking the top 25 right now. Will we finish in it? Maybe. But next year we will get better as the year progresses, though I imagine the first part of the year could be a little tough, especially if Romeo goes pro. But 2 years from now, we should be rolling and top 3 in B1G. I guess time will tell.

None of those teams (3-5) have proved anything to say they are better than we are. Wisc just got whipped at home by a very average Minnesota team.

I get you are a perpetually miserable hater, so whatever.
Look again. Nebby (a football school in the middle of no where) dick slapped the good ol Hoosiers.

We are 12 and 3 with 2 of our losses @ the #1 and #2 ranked teams in the country. Did anyone think we were competing for a National Title this year? I thought if we ever could compete it would be because we got hot going into the tournament, not because we were putting on dominating performances now or earlier. I don't understand all of the doom and gloom. Second year coach who is recruiting well, has instilled team defense (which travels), and is playing with an ad hoc line up every game because of injuries. Yet we are still 12-3 with 2 of our losses being on the road to the current #1 and #2 team in the country. I will take that particularly considering our best option at the point has been out for several games and our second highest rated recruit has not played one minute because of some odd ailment.

Why is anyone talking about next year when we have a pretty good ball club this year?
Your definition of pretty good ball club, is pretty good.

Just because you say it does not mean it is true and if you thought they played soft then you have no clue about the game of basketball.

The loss of Rob, Hunter, Race and Davis is just too much lost firepower. At one point today in the first half, IU was down 14 (I think) and the players on the floor were Zac, Moore, Al, Smith and Green. Even the announcer said...” where’s the scoring going to come from”. Really frustrating having so many injuries, especially Rob and Hunter.
You cannot blame the injuries to Race and Hunter on what is happening. They have never played so we have no idea if they are any good and the coach has had a lot of time to adjust to their absence.
