The rules actually state that if the official blows his whistle and determines illegal contact by the defending team while the player is shooting a 3 point shot, the possessing team gets 3 free throws. I’m not sure how what occurred isn’t within the rules? Please explain

The timer was horrible. If you watch the last 1.7 seconds, they start the clock a split second before Schofield even touches the ball. Also, if you re-watch, you can see that the horn sounded before the ball was touched on the last play, as well. Very shaky.
