I don't like Purdue either...but I agreed with the official...
Edwards wasn't touched on the three and I'm not sure his foot wasn't on the out of bounds line.... definitely a gift to keep them in it.
Ref bailed out the broilees with the touch foul with 1.7 seconds. But, the broilees took advantage of the gift.

The Tenn fans are upset and they have every right to be, Three controversial calls in the last few seconds cost them. The out of bounds call looked to be off Edwards foot, the marginal foul on the three point miss and then the timing call where there should have been .06 left.

He didn't get touched, it was an anticipation whistle... it happens, refs are human.
As bad as I hate to say it I really enjoyed watching Purdue play tonight. They have the type of players that we don’t have anymore for whatever reason. I hope Archie was watching that, because we don’t belong on the floor with either of those two teams tonight.

Yep, Edwards was grazed on the leg. Defender jumped towards Edwards and should’ve gone straight up. Don’t give the ref a reason to call it by jumping towards the shooter. The shot had no chance, so you gotta say the UT kid blew it by playing bad defense.
