This team needs...

We have shooters.

Were having a really bad shooting game* up unto this point. Hopefully it changes around

If this team ever starts making ft’s And hitting 3’s at a higher rate we will be a very tough out in the tournament

L'ville has a lot of length. Usually, I think IU has the edge with length on D but not today.

Well we were pretty owned most of the game and I HATE our physicality. We just dont have it but for the first time in awhile we played hard at the the end. I have to give Archie credit they did play tough at te end BUT where was that at the beginning of the game?

When people say "shooters" in this context they're talking about players that hit their shots, in particular three pointers. Anyone can shoot but that doesn't make them a shooter. And this team is missing one.

Thank you.

I was/am hoping Fitz can find his confidence because he stroke is pure. Out of the starting five, we don’t have a knock down shooter, but Rob hit a huge one when it mattered and Al (though not today) is very capable when in the flow of the offense to hit his fair share. Devonte can get streaky, but definitely not like teams of yesteryear.....but those teams had other issues. Free throws improving will help provide a cushion whereas we hopefully don’t need to be hitting threes at the ends of games out of necessity

I think IU played hard throughout. Louisville hit some shots including some guarded threes and some bad/low percentage threes. Overall though they didn't hit that many. Had IU hit shots and especially free throws, they would have won by 10-12.

Same can be said about UofL.
UofL went 11-32 from three...
