I would not use the word "worst" with Brunk. I would say IU has 11 quality guys who can play 15+ minutes.

I would not use the word "worst" with Brunk. I would say IU has 11 quality guys who can play 15+ minutes.
I get people’s frustration with the schedule but it is what it is. No one can change it. All the team can do is go out and play these teams and try to get better each and every time they step foot on a court.
Games against Arkansas, UConn, FSU, and ND, all though not great teams, will give us a better idea where we stand.
I am encouraged by what I have seen so far. Still not sure if it is a tourney team. But there is potential.

It remains to be seen how this particular team responds to adversity. I do like this team better than Archie's other ones. I have some concerns, though, regarding the quality of the big body bangers. Sure, TJ-D is for real, short for "real good". It's the other ones that concern me, in comparison with what Big Ten teams have to counter our inside players. I saw highlights of a recent Maryland game and seeds of doubt took sprout in my brain. Hopefully, those seedlings don't reach maturity, blooming into fruition.
Deron is gonna have to get ready for the big ten season. The question to Archie about load management, it actually applies for him, kind of. He needs to be in shape and not hurt in January, February and March. Brunk is atrocious at Defense and slower than Deron. I never thought that was possible.
Deron has tried pretty damn hard when he has been out there. Diving, moving his feet to the best of his ability, and he is just better than Brunk. His O will be money a few games this year. He is the kinda guy that for 10 minutes he could be a better player than Wesson or Tillman. Brunk has no chance of that, and has got abused by 6'8-6'10 Low Major players. He was bad at D at Butler and he still is. His feet didn't get any quicker and his vertical didn't get any higher.
Put it this way, if we had a poll of if you had to cut one scholarship player who would it be?
You think the overwhelming vote getter is not Brunk? Who you cutting before him?
Brunk needs to learn how to hit his free throws and set a mean pick then, since he lacks the fancy footwork. He comes here with some value.
