Or else he will continue his anti-IU insurgency campaign on the Hoosier.com message boards.Or what? lol
Also, that's what he'll do if we do well.

You are missing sobester’s lessons on genius. Fascinating because he clearly knows so much about it.Considering we just hired a new coach, things seem unusually quiet on this forum.
I never saw RMK as charismatic. But he could coach and game plan. It's what I care about.Anxious to see his PC. Wonder if Coyle can get him on. He doesn't have to be super charismatic, but I hope he doesn't look as agitated or uncomfortable in PCs as Archie did. It makes a difference in a place like this. Dolson knows this so I'm expecting an improvement over Archie.
You want a schmoozer, get Calipari.I never saw RMK as charismatic. But he could coach and game plan. It's what I care about.
Poor Chuck.RMK could be extremely charming, if you wern't a reporter asking him what he considered to be uninformed or lazy questions.
My favorite Chuck story is when Knight almost got him fired when he had Chuck shop the coach's show to WRTV or one of the other Indianapolis stations while Chuck was employed by Channel 4.Poor Chuck.
Do you remember what Knight looked like in some of his pressers? It ran the gamut from a deer caught in a headlight to be ready to fight someone. I just want DD to both recruit and coach like hell so we become a team to reckon with again.Yeah, just watched his presser after WVU's win over Utah. Not terribly impressed. Reminded me of Archie. Looked uncomfortable.
This board, the Wild West of boards, comparatively kept its cool? I don’t know about that. Though perhaps this board was so busy analyzing and crying about Chris Beard they didn’t have time to focus on other rumors. A blessing in disguise.c'mon....this ls lightweight shit compared to the scorched earth going on at BTB the past few days, weeks, months.
We apparently had sealed contracts with 11 different candidates over the past month. And they were all smokescreens for the whale.
Compared to them, this place actually kept its cool. There's just a bit of shock value since the CDD hire came out of left field in the final 36 hrs, after weeks of Brad, BB, McD, Otz, Wright, Dusty, Bennett, Donavan, Few, Drew, Beard, little guy from UCLA, McDermitt, Alford, McCasland, Fife, Self, hell a few more I'm probably forgetting.
At the end of the day, only one thing truly matters and that's results. Discretion is provided should intangibles be in play such as demonstrating player and team development over the course of the season, hustle, solid fundamental play, valuing possessions and not having mass turnovers, etc. Essentially what IU basketball used to be. There is zero reason we should not be finishing regularly in the top 5 in the conference and routinely winning regular season titles. We should be competing for top 2 seeds in the tourney and for crying out loud, make it past the first weekend of the tourney getting to FF's. So, I don't care who our coach is. I just care about the results.reminds me of the BBN's reaction to Pope but they warmed to him pretty quickly. Should be the same with DD (I hope). Hopefully he's got more charisma than Archie and does well in the PC and then starts locking down guys pretty quickly and our fanbase comes around. That's what I expect to happen. Heck, if nothing else after the last 20+ years and especially the last 8, this wasted season and the last 6 weeks of not knowing, at least let yourself be open to the possibility he's going to work out. I've never understood people who aren't happy unless they're unhappy, but feels like there are a lot of folks like that on this board.
It may not have been likeable charisma all the time, but I don't know how you wouldn't describe RMK as charismatic. He was a big charmer when he wanted to be and often very engaging talking to groups; but not necessarily media.I never saw RMK as charismatic. But he could coach and game plan. It's what I care about.
I have to think it was a shtick they set up for the show.Chuck was a remarkable human being, always completely calm and collected. He was Dick the Bruiser’s punching bag and then CRMK. No matter what was said to him his expression and tone of voice never changed, always calm and collected. Perfect straight man.
I have thought they took his interviews with Bruiser and went from there. Not only a super bball show but very entertaining as well.I have to think it was a shtick they set up for the show.
You might be right. Either way impressiveI thought he dropped out of Columbia med school.
Nothing worse than apathy.Considering we just hired a new coach, things seem unusually quiet on this forum.
I remember the mad ones, some of which were hilarious.Do you remember what Knight looked like in some of his pressers? It ran the gamut from a deer caught in a headlight to be ready to fight someone. I just want DD to both recruit and coach like hell so we become a team to reckon with again.
