Last year a majority of posters still lived in CAM la la land. Maybe he cast a spell or hypnotized many of the posters-I don’t know. Why when you saw a team mail in games last year did you not think it was indicative of poor coaching. Why when you saw lack of hustle and poor play with no substitution did you not attribute it to poor coaching. One of the maxims of basketball coaching is from Tex Winter-There is no substitution for hustle and if you don’t hustle there will be substitution. CAM ignore that maxim and must believe if he ignores the three point line long enough it will go away. How in the world can IU be at the bottom of the NCAA in 3pt field goal percentage for multiple seasons (currently 279th). How in the world can IU be 170th in assist to turnover ratio and 155th in turnovers per game. How can they be 125th in defensive field goal percentage. These CAM teams are a disaster but likely lead the NCAA in PC statistics something like 1st in lowest decibels by the coach encouraging his poor players that must be protected from psychological harm.
It shows progress that none of the haters that post here have blamed RMK for this loss and the majority have realized that CAM is just not good enough to get the job done at IU. It choked up many to see RMK back in AH but for far too many of the IU fan base it was just like casting pearls before swine.
For. many this is the PC team you wanted so live with it.
Green’s best shooting % year was as a freshman. Under CAM zero zilch improvement and actually worse by some measures. I hate to see players like Phinisee have a flat career so PC fans can have their PC team.
