Well that marks the end of VS.
They were largely participation trophies. Like giving the Yankees an opportunity to play a world baseball championship against all of the Nordic countries who were only allowed to start playing in this generation.
Going forward it will certainly change. But the level of play during rapinoe's generation was absolutely awful. The US women had a massive advantage over the rest of the world
