First it was Galloway telling us we should sit Rourke to avoid injury. Now it's IU should forfeit to avoid a bad loss.

I'm sure coach CIG and Scott Dolson are huddling at this very moment giving that serious consideration. LmaoFirst it was Galloway telling us we should sit Rourke to avoid injury. Now it's IU should forfeit to avoid a bad loss.
Why are they seemingly so worried about playing us?
Because they know we are out for blood to shut all the haters up! From all the bs theyve been gettn away with for the last few decades, the playing field has leveled out a bit with the portal/NiL, and stuff like that! They know we are now capable of beating them fair and square! As long as the zebras are fair, it’s gonna be a dogfight! The tides have finally turnedFirst it was Galloway telling us we should sit Rourke to avoid injury. Now it's IU should forfeit to avoid a bad loss.

After losing to them these past few decades, I’d say we have to win this one! They have to win. We don't.
No more than every game's a must win game. After losing to them these past few decades, I’d say we have to win this one!
Because they've all run their mouths and losing to IU would destroy their identity.First it was Galloway telling us we should sit Rourke to avoid injury. Now it's IU should forfeit to avoid a bad loss.
Why are they seemingly so worried about playing us?
Correct. We're playing with House money.Look. I will say this. If we get blown out by OSu what business do we have going into the playoffs a few weeks later? Whatever issues we have that leads to us getting blown out at this late point of the season won’t be fixed in a few weeks. My feelings won’t be hurt if we get blown out and get left out. We had a chance to prove we could compete with the best and didn’t show up. This season has already been a success in my view and we are beyond icing on the cake. Everything else is extra garnish and glitter.
So, this game is a benchmark that will either hush the naysayers or prove them right. We beat the spread we should get in. If we don’t I have no issue playing a regular bowl game. I absolutely want to see how we compete with osu though. Only losers forfeit to be a part of something they know they shouldn’t. We are winners. We don’t take a back seat to anyone. We belong. Jmho
I think oSU scored 1 FG in the 4th quarter of the Northwestern game. And they weren't playing all subs.Beyond historically precedent, OSU has done nothing this year to suggest that this game should be a blowout. True, IU hasn’t played any teams with that much of a pulse, but when OSU has it’s been a one score game, and IU has a pulse. OSU beat MSU by 31, IU won by 37. OSU beat NW by 24, IU won by 17. OSU beat Neb by 7, IU won by 😎.
The odds clearly favor an OSU win, but odds also suggest a competitive game.
If we're being honest, OSU actually doesn't need to win this. Seriously, they have a loss, we don't, yet we're the only ones in a must win scenario. Think about it.They have to win. We don't.
I had not looked at it like that but you are correct. A second loss would completely change their seeding. They have to win. We don't.

Fans being worried is one thing … players being uptight would be a plus.First it was Galloway telling us we should sit Rourke to avoid injury. Now it's IU should forfeit to avoid a bad loss.

Why are they seemingly so worried about playing us?
I’m looking at this game realistically. I think if we play our best we can win, even if OSU plays well, but I remind myself that this is a first year coach, coaching a team that was cobbled together less than a year ago. Frankly, IU logically shouldn’t have much of a shot to win.Look. I will say this. If we get blown out by OSu what business do we have going into the playoffs a few weeks later? Whatever issues we have that leads to us getting blown out at this late point of the season won’t be fixed in a few weeks. My feelings won’t be hurt if we get blown out and get left out. I don't know of any rational fans that expect otherwise. Should be a heck of a gameBeyond historically precedent, OSU has done nothing this year to suggest that this game should be a blowout. Yes it’s him. Hes a troll. This you….
Sounds very much like you think IU should forfeit for a 1-0 loss instead of a blowout.Look. I will say this. If we get blown out by OSu what business do we have going into the playoffs a few weeks later? Who is that doofus, Napoleon Dynamite?First it was Galloway telling us we should sit Rourke to avoid injury. Now it's IU should forfeit to avoid a bad loss.
Why are they seemingly so worried about playing us?
There's no such thing. It's always your money.Correct. We're playing with House money.
Don't worry. If we're being honest, OSU actually doesn't need to win this. Seriously, they have a loss, we don't, yet we're the only ones in a must win scenario. Think about it.
If IU wins, OSU will have lost to #1 and #2 ranked teams. They'd be the best 2 loss team and I can't see them putting PSU ahead of them. My guess is they'd still get a home game in the CFP. Make it make sense.
