There was voter fraud

The AP worked with county vote officials in the 6 contested states and found there was voter fraud, 475 potential cases.

Of those, many did not actually get their votes counted as they were caught. Some were for Trump, some for Biden.

Good.
Now we can all put this nonsense behind us.
I look forward to Trump's concession speech.
You won't get that and with one party threatening the filibuster in order to federalize the election process with Harris likely being the deciding vote if they can get that far, prepare for more people bitching about the election system.

Additionally, I know Trump was the latest complainer about the integrity of our votes, but there has been a complaint about the vote from the other side of the aisle in every election they have lost since the turn of the century and polling shows the lowest that faith in the election system got was in 2016...when all the fake colluding was happening.

The truth of the matter is that recently, the loser's side in an election is more likely to question the results. And both sides with their propaganda organs play into that. One gives the impression that any identification rules or restrictions around voting is suppression of their voters and when they lose, that is their go to. Ths other says that there is no good way to verify votes, who made them, and whether they should have been made in the first place and that is their go to.

This is a large and closely divided country, do I think the election was "stolen"? No, but there was enough questionable bull shit that went on in the last election from executives changing election law on a whim without the input of legislatures in states across the country down to the bad appearance of shutting down vote counting in several key areas of the country with massive turnarounds in fortune soon after. That may have been on the up and up but for a country already very much in tune with the idea that the other side cheats, it was extremely poor optics.

Sinema and Manchin may be saving our system currently because if the voting "rights" (misnomer) bill that the Democrats want to push through by changing the filibuster actually makes it through, I can tell you that a sizable portion of people are going to raise holy hell about election integrity.

Federalize elections geez what could go wrong!!!! It is not going to happen thank god and SInema and Manchin are hard no. But the dems are just salivating at the fact of being able to mail out a ballot to every single person regardlelss of if they requested one or not. That includes all of those that are on voter rolls and have not cast a vote in a decade. But it would be totally legit ( lol ) and why dems are pushing it because they it would benefit them. Instead of having votes counted in a day like Florida and Texas it would take a month like California. Ok so we are down 35 votes lets see where we can find 40. Give me a break not that hard to request a ballot of get up off you butt and go vote. Thank got we have two dems who will kill this nonsense.

The 2020 election was the most corrupt in American history. The election was stolen by schemes in the works since 2016.

The two-tiered system of 'justice' has created a protected criminal class of bureaucrats throughout the country, from election boards to local prosecutors and judges up to and including the Supreme Court. They are emboldened to the point that they consider themselves above the law. The fake pandemic is example number one, but not the only example.

Normie America is grieving right now, but when the sharpness of grief subsides, it will be replaced by a burning anger...

Be ready.....

But there's only been one riot at the Capitol. Thanks Trump!
Washington D.C. riots occurred multiple times relating to Trump's election and again in different cities across the U.S. And they were violent and I am not even talking the BLM riots where the President had to go into a bunker because of how the crowd was acting at the White House. Congress was interrupted from doing business on multiple occasions by protestors as well...and this goes back to the Code Pink people. You guys need to get over this idea that Trump was some new paradigm. Things maybe reached a crescendo with him (we hope, I am not convinced that it has) but the idea that he or his followers were an outlier is just not in touch with reality. They were a progression of the line that can really be drawn from the 2000 election forward where each side is tit for tatting each other along a pretty linear path. And it is so easy for everyone to "what-about" because there are so many examples for everyone.

Yep. He was hopefully the last piece to the Drain the swamp initiative. He has helped create the visibility of just how corrupt we have become.
At least until the next Republican wins.

EDIT - The Politifact analysis whittled down the score to 142 people indicted in the three GOP presidents — far less than 317, but far more than the two under the Democrats.

Not an outlier? A progression? What one specific example would you point to as most similar to the attack on the Capitol following a series of incendiary speeches that the election was stolen?

That's like saying terminal brain cancer is the next step in a linear progression after a head cold. Losers always complain, but up until this last election, the really crazy stuff was relegated to just a few nuts. Stuff like Mas' post above would never have come from actual candidates or public officials, or be shared by such a large chunk of either party.

It's a crescendo, sure, but the pace of it took a dramatic increase this cycle.

Some forty years ago as a Ward Chairman my Precinct Committee people registered tons of people to vote. My ward consisted of a growing township with many apartment communities. Because of this, there were many new residents who needed to be registered.

Given the large volume of registrations in my ward the County Chairman warned me against registering voters from the other party. I ignored his warnings and continued to register potential voters without questioning their party affiliation.

Another concern because of the transient nature of new residents and apartment dwellers was the possibility of registering voters who had already been registered and might be able to vote more than once. On this concern, as confirmed by conversations with the other party leaders, it was deemed more important to register voters than to concern ourselves with a voter who might vote more than once.

Wow, how times have changed. Concern isn't about encouraging more voters and making it easy to register. Instead it is about a few who might engage in voter fraud.

Sinema pops Democrats’ filibuster trial balloon on voting rights

The Arizona Democrat is not willing to entertain changes to the 60-vote threshold in order to pass elections reform, as some of her colleagues are discussing.

Love it!!!!!

Two words. Hillary Clinton.

Additionally, there must have been an awful lot of nuts around from 2016 to 2020 otherwise WTF was all the "resistance" talk. The nominee (as noted above) thought the election was not on the up and up 4 years after the fact. It was stolen, the Russians colluded it away, the FBI was out to get us, etc. All of that happened well before Jan 6. The night Trump won there were numerous riots across the U.S. including at the Capitol. It happened again when he was sworn in. We had an entire summer of rioting before the election. There is very much a linear correlation from hanging chads right up to the riot on Jan 6th. Neither side is capable of dealing with the idea that they just lost. Al Gore was ripped off, Kerry got swift-boated by dirty tricks, Obama had a media that covered up his failures and illegals are voting, the Russians and FBI sunk Trump, the Democrats stuffed the ballots. Every election is met with claims that the other side did something underhanded to win. And each time it happens the responses become even more extreme.

All of this is just an exercise in saying the other people are more terrible. Look, the GOP is filled with way more crazies than us. They attacked the Capitol. And the other side is going to say, one riot. You got us on one riot that was basically one big out burst as opposed to decades worth of the stuff from the left side of the aisle. Congrats. When right wingers are pissed at the government, they go after the government. Left wingers just take random people's shit and burn their city down. Both are a bad look IMO and both are equally bad.

You suggest you oppose mailing ballots to people "regardlelss of if they requested one or not."

Since you would require mail voters to essentially sign up for mail-in ballots each election, wouldn't you also require "all of those that are on voter rolls and have not cast a vote in a decade" to confirm their registrations before every election before being allowed to vote in person?

If officials required every voter to confirm i.d. and residence before election, I'd probably agree with your suggestion about the mail-in ballots.

However, as your post recognizes, election officials routinely allow one group of people (in-person voters) to remain on voter rolls with no pre-election verification that they are still eligible to vote. To crack down on mail-in voters without also cracking down on in-person voters is hypocritical.

And, the AP story linked above confirms that in-person voters also commit voter fraud and should be policed equally: "A Pennsylvania man who went twice to the polls, voting once on his own behalf and once for his son."

Sorry but that's still miles away from the 2020 response. Irresponsible and unsupported, sure. But still nothing like what we've seen from Trump and his cultists.

There's a qualitative difference between the questions raised about 2016 and what Trump and the Republican state legislatures are doing now. Claims that it's just a question of degree are simply attempts to minimize the assaults we're seeing on our electoral systems.

Dems last and final attempt at mass amnesty is dead as a doornail. Now I suppose they will try and keep pushing the takeover of elections so they can mass mail ballots to anyone on the voter rolls no matter how outdated and old the rolls are. 70% of Americans want voter ID and they want to mail ballots to anyone and everyone. LOL what could go wrong. Luckily Sinema and Manchin are not going to let it happen. The dems know they are in big trouble without mass mail in voting especially given tighter new voter laws which are not even that tight. I suppose they will try some sort of COVID panic next fall and try and flood the system with mail in votes again but I doubt it will work. Hickory you team is in big trouble.

The Senate parliamentarian has rejected Democrats’ third attempt to include immigration in their social-spending package, according to several reports.
Democrats had hoped to use a technical procedure to provide temporary deportation protections and work permits to millions of illegal immigrants before Elizabeth MacDonough, a nonpartisan Senate referee, rejected the proposal on Thursday, according to the Wall Street Journal and CNN.
MacDonough’s guidance likely eliminates any possibility that Democrats can include immigration measures in the bill.

Most of what we've seen from the vocal, progressives is damaging the Left. The free cheese has contributed to inflation and labor shortages. BLM has proven to be the insane organization most of us thought it was from the advent. Bail reform is a terrible idea. Defunding police by reallocating monies is a terrible idea. Crime is through the roof. AOC and the vocal Squad co-opting the left around the country has been terrible for the party, as reflected in abysmal approval ratings.

If the Left had any sense they'd drop most of BBB and take a hard right turn to the middle and away from the far left. From where I'm sitting the Right hasn't gained any sanity. Desantis is proving a whacko, overreaching governor who should never be president. Who else do we have? No one I can think of with any juice. If the Dems took a hard right turn to the middle I suspect they could salvage midterms and regroup going into 2024

Did Hillary refuse to conceed defeat?
Did her supporters try to stop electoral vote counting?
Did her supporters kill and maim people to try to gain power?
Did her supporters threaten to kill politicians who refused to obey the Constitution?

Somehow I missed all of that.

It's not even accurate to call all of this "voter fraud." Someone voting improperly because of mistake, confusion, etc. is not fraud.

For example, while this is against the law, it is not fraud:

Donald Holz is among the five people in Wisconsin who face voter fraud charges. He said all he wanted to do was vote for Trump. But because he was still on parole after being convicted of felony drunken driving, the 63-year-old retiree was not eligible to do so. Wisconsin is not among the states that have loosened felon voting laws in recent years.
Holz said he had no intention to break the law and only did so after he asked poll workers if it was OK.

Perfect case for how Trump supporters are law abiding citizens, want to do the right thing per the law and their fellow man, but they still get ridiculed and the Dem swamp not only use them as a slogan, but also put them in bondage while doing so. Seems pretty clear to me what is going.
Stupid ass should have asked if he could vote Biden, then voted the proper way once in the booth.

Which is great, so voter fraud is LESS than 475 across 6 battleground states. Yet some report it to be a massive problem.

Donny Holz seems like the quintessential Trump voter.

The only way Trump could lose is voter fraud, ergo there was voter fraud.

Think of the compliment. Democrats are so intellectually superior they can conduct massive untraceable voter fraud. I mean I am honored and all that but I know with 100% certainty that isn't true.

On the other hand, 3 from The Villages in Florida were just arrested for voter fraud. 2 are Republican, one unknown.

The one who is not a registered Republican did have a pro-Trump Facebook page:

Imaging that. All those Democrats voting illegally and 1) either are smarter or 2) De Santis only targeted Republicans. It has to be one of those two, millions of fraudulent Democrat votes and De Santis' government can only find a couple Republicans? Either we are smarter than I think we are, or the Florida governor is a traitor to his party.
