It's not like any of this is US property. We have support staff only via the State Dept that provides expertise to the Ukrainians.... but these are their labs and their material. Our biggest concern for years wasn't Russia invading Ukraine, but rather sloppy security protocols allowing these materials to fall into hands of any number of nutbag terrorists around the world, or just an accidental release, for that matter.
