You made the right choice. Every single one of us regrets it.

I don't regret it. Hard life, but I don't regret it., but I have a Ivan Illych moments of regrets about the manner in which I 've burned the candle at both ends.......When I was in law school, I wanted to coach football. I did for a year at the high school level and realized how dreadful parents are. Got my fix in for about 10 years by scouting and charting plays (down and distance and play on opps offense; down and distance and coverage/front for the opps defense, for the local high school.

If I married another lawyer, in particular a litigator, I wouild have regretted it. Too much "who has the biggest crank in the house". I've accepted the fact that it isn't me, but there was no battle--just capitulation-- the marriage saving approach.

When I was 8, I wanted to to be a profefssional wrestler. I would have sucked except for the interivews.
