The real shame in the playoff format

Well, that’s not what you said. You said once our game was announced it could have been played at any one of three bowl locations. Logistically that’s not working.

Regardless, the feedback about having home games on campus has probably been the most agreed upon positive of the whole thing so far. You’ll see more home games before you see less.
Which makes the whole thing seem fake.

Let me add, that I’m fortunate to be able to listen to Sirius college sports radio throughout most of my workday. So during the course of a week, I probably listen to about 35 or so hours of talk radio on that channel and probably hear at least 10 to 12 interviews From station hosts, broadcasters and journalist and coaches and former players and all sorts of people. So, the feedback that I heard overwhelmingly on there, as well as the content I consume on Twitter, The Athletic and TikTok tells me that the home games were overwhelmingly well received, and people were very excited about them.

In the meantime, you consume so little content about college football that you don’t even know what the pop tarts bowl is.
At least I don't need to base my opinion on self proclaimed experts because of being incapable of thinking for myself. It is hilarious that you went from my idea isn't doable to well these experts say the current way is better so it must be so.

I don't really give a shit what they think about home games. Not one person has given a persuasive argument that it is the right way to go.

And journalists and commentators don't represent everyone. Far from it

I don't know about bowl sponsors because I only follow iu football. Since you can't actually make the case for home games, you resort to petty insults.

They should seed teams based only on the CFP rankings with no automatic byes for conference champions.
1-4 get bye
5-8 get home field game
9-12 get seeded
Simple, easy and fair.

This year, #8 Indiana would have had a home game against #9 Boise St.
Home games are hardly fair even if that would have iu with one

Sure they are....
+top 4 teams are rewarded with byes
+the next 4 teams are rewarded with the home field
+the last 4 teams are rewarded with getting in the tournament
That's life in the real world....
I said fair. Not whether or not it teaches a life lesson that life isn't fair

There is no fair way of determining who is better than another. So you are rewarding based on what? How the cfp arbitrarily ranks them? Higher seeds getting to play lower seeds is reward enough. adding other advantages is unnecessary and unfair.

Make it 16 teams and all neutral sites. Win that and you deserve the trophy. As is, there should be a cfp assisted asterick
