Is capping costs because like a lot of other government spending there is crazyiness involved?
Focus on the word, "cap". Could that indicate run away spending, spending on things that are unrelated? It doesn't surprise me some wacky judge would do that if it was run away spending. It's ****ing cutting funding for cancer research. Who tries to argue with taking money away from from ****ing cancer research?
Unfortunately, a rogue federal judge blocked this, so funding will continue, for now.
Pimp cane. Wish I could see his shoesIs that Gorka up on the dais? I'm embarrassed he's still a thing in our government.
Don't even know who that guy is, but when they kicked him out, the cool factor in that room when down by about 50.Pimp cane. Wish I could see his shoes

Now I'm wondering how many MAGA weirdos don't know the difference between transgender and transgenic? At least two ...They were upset about the transgender mice not getting funding.
He had a stool at a bar around the corner being held for himDon't even know who that guy is, but when they kicked him out, the cool factor in that room when down by about 50.
Probably a dozen drinks already lined up and paid for too.He had a stool at a bar around the corner being held for him
This won’t take long….
He certainly didn’t when he attended the same white office with his child- the respect was so evident in his actions then lol. DOGE will need to touch military, social security, and Medicare to make a dent. How about a national sales tax of 1% on every single thing bought by an American in America- with revenue ear marked/mandated only for federal debt reduction? We are going to have inflation, an extra 1% can make us feel sense of ownership. LFG regressive sure but also a way to ensure the wealthy pay more than middle class.Elon wore a suit. Yeah, I’m looking at you, Volodymyr.

You better believe it’s a weapon
Bro, that's not much of a weapon around my neck of the woods when its common to walk into walmart and see uncle Buck with his 9 strapped to his side.
Nobody is worried about a God damn cane.
Just a long list of blatant lies mixed with really patronizing insults of the opposition. It was like he just opened this forum and read the posts in front of Congress.
Free speech is back!People are saying online he got kicked out because he had a weapon. Yes, his pimp cane is now considered a weapon.
You are correct tariffs are taxes on consuming. The US has had tariffs on different items such as imported automobiles for decades. Unfortunately when you try to oversimplify that tariffs are not cumulative or retaliatory on country to country basis you have truly missed out on the effect. There are consumables that will be effected, day to day products while we pay more for the same item. Ie ketchup. When tomatoes are being taxed as the us imports more than 60% of tomatoes from Mexico especially in the winter the price not only for tomatoes goes up but all related byproducts do as well. Etc etc. if you wanted to tax consumables you would imply a value added tax model (VAT) which is applied in multiple countries world wide. We use a two tiered tax system with sales tax both state and federal which also tax consumables. When you ask this basic question, would you buy the same product at twice the price and you answer no, you are now affecting both manufacturing and consuming. Because if products now stay on the shelves for longer manufacturers will start supplying less of the items which in turn now affects the overall price by further increasing the price of said item. So on and so forth.Tariffs are taxes. Trump wants to lower income tax and raise tariffs. What is the real problem here. Lowering taxes on working and raising taxes on consuming might be a good idea.
Act like a thug, you get treated like a thug.Free speech is back!
It is what it is, I like to see if you guys hold the next coach to the same standard. A standard of hate. You guys did not want him in the first place. How you handling Mike Woodson's upcoming retirement?

Unfortunately I don’t have the time and inclination to further expand your horizons on how a system works. The best advice I may offer you is this. Knowledge is power, the more you know the more BS you can pick up.
As long as trump caters to you Mr. white person you are all right, but remember trump only cares about himself and other rich people. I guess you are among the rich. White supremacists. You are the number 1 race baiter on this board. You would fit right in with Sonny, Jamelle Hill, Joy Reid and the other hosts of the view. How many of those do you follow religiously? Gotta be nearly all of them.
Tariffs are a tool to level the playing field for American Manufactures, hopefully instead of paying tariffs they move their manufacturing plants home.Tariffs and higher taxes hurts poor people
you will pay more for goods and services, poor people can not afford to pay more. He is not trying to help the poor.Tariffs are a tool to level the playing field for American Manufactures, hopefully instead of paying tariffs they move their manufacturing plants home.
Biden damn sure didn’t pay Blacks like he did Illegals. They won’t be poor if they went to work and didn’t smoke dope all time.you will pay more for goods and services, poor people can not afford to pay more. He is not trying to help the poor.
Such a caring God you must serve. I'm sure you are numb to stopping the food aid programs to Africa. Shrug and say not my problem.Focus on the word, "cap". You simply don’t understand. We can’t continue feeding the world, protecting the world, policing the world, etc.Such a caring God you must serve. I'm sure you are numb to stopping the food aid programs to Africa. Shrug and say not my problem.
Hey Ty, there are something’s you stated that are correct that the us can’t afford to take care of the world. The one thing that you don’t ask yourself, who would you want policing the world? There are 3 main superpowers based on military. The US, Russia and China. The BRIC nations that were going to form a joint coalition as the next world power broker. China not only has the population to decimate any war, they are also Economically the strongest power. So again, the question you need to ask is what sort of world stability are you willing to pay for as an individual? You simply don’t understand. We can’t continue feeding the world, protecting the world, policing the world, etc.
The USA can’t afford it.
You should start to think about how bad future generations in the US will have it. Do you have kids? Well your kids, your kids kids, etc. are totally screwed if we continue to try to take care of the world. It’s time to get our shit together, balance the budget, get our deficit under control, if we have any hope for prosperous future generations in the US.
You bleeding hearts are insufferable.
Yes Will, that is correct. Unfortunately in politics no one really cares about the little man and that has been the case for the past 2-3 decades. The us consumes about 60% of the worlds consumption but has less than 1/10th of the worlds population. People can’t listen to news anymore as journalism is no longer journalism it is opinionated BS, with no real facts. Heck I could be a journalist at this point, I also have opinions on everything. Opinions are like a$$holes everyone has them.Tariffs and higher taxes hurts poor people
People were skeptical of his lack of college experience and his losing record in the NBA, not gonna lie.It is what it is, I like to see if you guys hold the next coach to the same standard. A standard of hate. You guys did not want him in the first place.
The US can’t afford it. It’s that simple. Sometimes empathy has to take a back seat to the reality of a situation. This is one of those times.Hey Ty, there are something’s you stated that are correct that the us can’t afford to take care of the world. Humans are always selfish but at least when it comes to Americans we as a people help one another not only internally but also externally it’s called empathy, we can’t take a back seat unfortunately.
It is you that don't understand. Watch what happens to farmers when we quit feeding the world. I'm not up for another farm bailout. If we are going to subsidize farming we might as well feed some starving children along the way.You simply don’t understand. We can’t continue feeding the world, protecting the world, policing the world, etc.

Ok that makes sense then so you wouldn’t have a problem defunding the military then that would save the US billions of dollars from the fiscal budget. There is no further need of spending that amount anymore. We will become Europe, dependent on other foreign military to protect our boarders. And then guess what we wouldn’t have an immigrant problem either because there would be fewer jobs, so great I support your logic. If you would kindly submit your name in the ballot box I would surely vote for you!!!!The US can’t afford it. It’s that simple. Sometimes empathy has to take a back seat to the reality of a situation. This is one of those times.
We have to take a back seat. Unfortuntunately.
China is vastly overrated. Not only are they not a free society, but big chinese brother is getting seriously more controlling and intrusive.Hey Ty, there are something’s you stated that are correct that the us can’t afford to take care of the world.
