It seems the play was a solid play call. Nobody was guarding smith and he easily got the ball up the court and passed to one of the better 3 point shooters on the team on the team who got off a clean uncontested shot. Morgan could have been a bit more within his range. That said, I find it hard to believe that was the called play. I'm sure the plan was to get the ball to Romeo who probably had 3 players chasing him.
