The eye test..what's it mean?

I keep reading where certain teams pass the eye test or other teams don't; what are we talking about?

If you're not 6-3 240lbs you're not a LB or if you're not 6-6 300lbs you're not a linemen? Is that the eye test?

I guess in modern speak, you're not a "dude". Lol
