Man, that tie on Vince is.....questionable. Also, dude's a gazillionaire and still has ski slopes on the shoulders of that suit. Do better man. I mean, better than Trump by miles. But c'mon. Don't even get me started on the off the shelf thing XXX is wearing.

Literally laughing out loud.

. . . and ___, 1, ____, ____
Wait, what?

Shouldn't it be 2, HELL NO, HELL NO, HELL NO

Ah, see I thought you lined up your ranking with where they were in the pic.

Why wouldn't they be audited or are they exempt?

And who's doing the auditing?
From how I’ve heard Musk describe the process, there would be no reason for it. Might he have been lying ? Yes. Do you have proof he is? I’ll read it. He is prone to exaggeration or misdirection sometimes.

See, if that's what he said, then that should be a huge red flag.

Why shouldn't EVERYTHING in our federal government, meaning every contract be under audit? If I'm understanding correctly, which I might not be and admit that, but why is he deciding his contracts don't have to go through a independent, unbiased audit unassociated with DOGE?

The same government contract officers and leadership awarded those contracts the same as they awarded the others. Why shouldn’t they get the same kind of attention?

You should listen to his Rogan interview.

You should listen to his Rogan interview.

I've listened to a little bit of it.

I noticed he finally admitted that a lot of what they are finding isn't fraud, but waste as he put it.

There's a huge difference there and one that needs to be acknowledged.

I'm planning on listening to the rest in the next few days.

It’s not all good stuff in that interview, I don’t think. But you get a glimpse into how Musk’s mind works.

It’s not about Rogan. It’s about listening to someone important talk about issues you are interested in in a relaxed, natural way.
Maybe I'll give it a shot. I've just not liked podcasts previously. I do like documentaries on TV and I've listened to audiobooks (many) so I'm not sure why I haven't cared for podcasts.

Don’t know. You can watch it on YouTube.

I’d just caution that if you dont like Rogan (I get it, he can be annoying and singular minded), keep that in mind and focus on the interviewee. Because Rogan will ask a tough question or good follow up and generally make them answer

The format also eliminates canned responses for the most part. Harris sounded like a moron with her canned bs on a loop. She was actually best in a relaxed setting just talking etc. she fckd up not going on rogan.

Both yes and no.
Something that is hard for us mere mortals to understand is that great men, men that change the world, are pretty strange folk.

They focus themself on a purpose or several purposes to the detriment of pretty much everything else. Personal relationships, societal norms, etc.

So if you’re going to be a freak, you better change the world, otherwise you’re just a freak.

He’s definitely a freak 🤣🤣🤣. Phone blowing up with all these exes while he’s in his gaming chair staring at that big Diablo screen 🤣🤣🤣.

There’s a video on instagram with him at trump’s speech flirting with some chic sitting across the aisle. He was offering her water. I couldn’t tell if it was real. It was something

I don’t know the extent of his Diablo playing, I’ve heard varying reports.

What irks me is that people think because he has done Ketamine before, tweets an absurd amount, plays Diablo, and has taken on DOGE somehow he’s a passive financier that has no real role in any of his companies and just made good bets.

There is no reading of reality in which that is correct. He is perhaps the greatest multi-tasker of all time and is heavily involved in each of his companies when they reach an impasse that can’t be delegated out.

To think each of his companies are as successful as they are based on just shrewd investment and good hiring is completely asinine.

Absolutely. The greatest entrepreneur of our time. Breadth alone. Generating gov Ks, financing, etc absent the innovation and organizational skills is insanely difficult. He’s amazing.

Now that may not translate to public administration but the knocks against his accomplishments are so stupid

I know a few people (mostly from when I was living in Texas) that sleep with a handgun by their bedside. Not something I would do, but not a sign of instability imo.

That is an absurd amount of a diet Coke however.

it's caffeine free Diet Coke and maybe they just don't fit on the night stand but I don't see any swords or daggers. he's clearly still on his journey.

I generally like listening to Rogan, but he has clearly gone right wing, which in my view has clearly clouded his mind and caused him to not to check some of the most basic lies.

He could have pushed Musk when he said Trump won the majority of the popular vote. That's just not true.

They then go on and say how doge puts everything on their website and nobody can dispute any line item that they put up there? What? People that can read simple decibel placement know this isn't true. To his credit, they eventually just go away from their site, like he said.

The problem then becomes those billions that was pumped out in the public, isn't corrected in the public and is continually used as proof that theirs fraud and waste when it's just not true.

And then we come to air traffic controllers. He says that old white guys who were really good at their jobs were pushed out. What is that? How the hell does he know that? Did Rogan push back on that? Not at all.

Those are just a few thoughts from what I've listened to so far.

“The majority of the popular vote” is semantics. I’m not even sure Rogan knows it was just a plurality. It was more than Democrats, that’s what matters to people.

I haven’t checked out the DOGE website. I think anyone expecting real time updates of funding cuts online is being a fool. I keep stressing that people should wait for the dust to settle and 16 months from now see if Musk made an impact on the deficit. If he didn’t I’ll be first in line to proclaim what a waste of time and energy this was.

ATC had DEI programs in place.
