The 2nd half of yesterday's game

was impressive.
Wasn't that the level of play we expected before the season started considering we had the most talent in the B10.
So, should we be pleased with a singular half of good ball, or pissed that an entire season was squandered?
Short answer is yes to both...but...

I don't think anyone expected us to routinely beat big ten teams by 27 in a half. That's a touch beyond. The wild thing is 2/3rds of the players who played in the second half were on last year's team.

agree, not by 27 in a half.
But basically this degree of intensity for every game. And some "unrealized" talent that sat on the bench......MM. Tucker, Carlyle (and sadly a couple are out for medical reasons Cupps and Newton)

Yep. It's frustrating that Woodson took so long this season to put his best lineup on the floor, and that he has so many well paid dudes that aren't interested enough in defense to crack that lineup.

I still think there is at least a little something to the fact that Leal, Goode, and Gallo are from Indiana.

No, I'm not one to say you don't look for talent everywhere. But if you find a least a few talented players locally, they tend to have a bit higher BB IQ and toughness, and time on the floor is well spent with them.

people complain about 2 Bigs on offense but explain to me how in the hell you can play pressure defense and guard the 3-point line with 2 Bigs and MM on the court together. answer is you can't
