That Smith kid for Purdue…

I have no idea, but why does it matter? You got him, our staff didn't like him enough and he's been terrific. Why try and dissect his feelings from 3-4 years ago. I remember at the time, the general sentiment was he'd come to IU, but I also recall he jumped on the PU offer, so personally my guess is he would've accepted either school that offered first. Think both were much preferred over his other options at the time. Think he wanted to play/prove in the B10.
Honest question, do you think he would have achieved/developed as much in IU's system under Woodson?

Smith is an incredible guard-something we haven't had for quite some time. Good for Purdue that Trump pardoned him before the B10 season got into full swing.

He's a real PG ... what he lacks physically, he more than makes up for with court sense and IQ. Teams that don't blitz or hedge him get carved up. Got to take the ball out of his hands as much as possible and make others make the plays.

They're playing well enough to make the tourney and lose in the first round. That team will be exposed by quickness. It's a Purdue tradition.
The Amish Leprechaun is fun to watch play basketball. 31/6/4 last night against Iowa.

You're 100% correct in your last paragraph.
