How is that Fred’s fault? He’s not coaching them. If it’s the best talent IU has then it’s bc she brought them in. Are players injured? Did someone transfer mid season? Fred, if he was boss back then, let Versyp get away to coach Purdue, where she played. She has a good record there but hasn’t gotten past the second round of the ncaa so maybe it was

She has done well. IU women's hoops has almost never been mentioned until last year.
This board is beyond ridiculous. IU's women's team hasn't been this competitive since the beginning of the 80's, but what a horrible hire! IU football is probably in its 3rd best period ever (with the heyday being related to WW2 or Mallory), but fire everyone involved! The basketball coach has had one recruiting class after a horribly put together roster (and a 5* center and 4* SG coming in +), but fire the coach who can't win with the last coach's players and a bunch of talented freshmen because this board has no basic understanding of college basketball or apparently, any knowledge of types of defense (as I still see/hear people talking about switching to "man-to-man" from the packline and people, apparently, don't pay close enough attention to know what role scouting has to do with the improved D on Romeo).....but let's just fire everybody from all our major sports.....
IU football is not in good shape relative to the rest of the conference. Back to back losing seasons and multiple blown games is nothing to feel positive about. Women’s basketball may not even make the NIT this year. Men’s basketball is a dumpster fire with little signs of improving in the near future.
I live down here close to UofL and UK. And they laugh at IU Athletics. They are too busy making tournament runs, winning bowl games, and getting 1 seeds in baseball.
The low expectations of IU fans is a Major problem.
They were tanking before she got hurt.
She had some real bad games just before she got hurt. And they have plenty of guards.
The problems, even when AP was there, have been lack of size, way too many TOs, and inconsistent defense. They also fade in games and blow leads.
This team looked like a 4-6 BT finisher 1/3 of the way through the BT season.
IU leadership is so insulated in bubble that they have zero self-awareness and can’t see what a joke they are to the rest of the country. It is amazing how many people have fallen for Fred’s con job.
LOL Did you apply for the IU AD job and Fred beat you out? I truly fear for his family with how obsessed you are with your hate against him. This is college athletics my man, let it go.
