Can’t believe I just wasted 2+ hours on that.

Mgbako misses a bunny to tie the game, then misses Rice wide open under the rim for a layup, and then he misses a corner three. All in the span of five seconds!

schedule opens up a bit but we likely need 4 of the final 5 to make the dance. 3 of 5 plus two in the BTT might do it.

The season was pretty much over when they lost at Northwestern. You can't spot the Big Ten a bunch of games and expect to dig out of it.

The season was done on day one. You can't buy a team with a bunch of members who don't care and expect good results. Top it off with the worst coach in the history of college basketball and IU got what they bought.
You just have to love nepotism in the work place.. And QB!

I just can't see this team putting together a winning streak of any length. Consistency is non-existent and nothing carries over from game to game. There are two concerns I have that seem to be ongoing.

We seem to get beat out on a lot of loose balls and rebounds. In addition, it seems that We have nobody Who can drive the ball and stay upright on their feet as They shoot. On Defense We seem to get bodied out of the way too easily. It seems that We haven't developed the body strength that a lot of other Teams have. This isn't a case of playing a lot of Young Guys Who need to be in a Strength Program for a Year or two to build muscle and put on weight. It appears that our Strength and Conditioning Program is a failure.

The Second One is that this time of the Year, You would think They would have built a rotation that would bring something of value off the bench. but it doesn't matter Who We start or bring off the bench. There is nobody Who can bring a spark or Offensive or Defensive intensity into the Game.

Yes, without a doubt. You're confusing coached down players with lack of talent. The team has the talent, they just lack am understanding of how to play as a team.
IU's guards are probably in the bottom 4 of the conference. It's no mystery why Leal and Galloway are playing the bulk of the minutes. Rice, no PG and not very good shooter, Carlyle (last summer he was NBA draft pick) has been a bust. Galloway, Leal, Goode, and Ballo all Seniors and should be better. Ballo is probably one of laziest players I've seen. Front court has no athletes and are slow. No, not great Talent, no matter how you slice it, and IU starts all over next year!

I agree with your talent comments. As such, starting over is the best thing that could happen.

Surprised you're here after your team got stomped badly yesterday. Loyer could be the worst defensive guard in the country.

No, you're tsking results and applying that as talent. The players are coached down but have proven to be talented in other stops. IU has top 2-3 talent in the conference. Sorry if that disappoints you.

Actually they don’t have top 2-3 talent in this league. Our ‘talent’ was over sold.

At no point in this disastrous season did I ever see Rice or Carlyle being even in the same stratosphere as any upper half guards in the league.

Proof: Leal and Galloway starting games. We all said that if Galloway starts, this season went off the rails. It went off the rails because our talent failed our basic idiot coach.

It disappoints us all.

IU's guards have been awful under Woody. If Leal and Galloway are your starting guards, you aren't doing anything.

I agree we didn't see it, but that's because they're coached down....still.
