In regards to availability of starter level talent or key depth piece talent, curious what the landscape was last spring and what you think this springs portal availability will look like?
Tia.

Yea. That's also a recruiting error for the Vols... can't have guys like that around and it makes sense they told him to go.Nico is in the portal searching for his bag. This is the wild wild West. Good for TN for cutting bait and letting him walk. He is not that great.
His dad was shopping him around and the Oregon staff gave Tennessee an early heads up. He must have found a buyer because he skipped out on meetings and practices. Sounds like UCLA is likely willing to pay him what he wants. He is unhappy about what he making (2.5M), & wants to bump it up to 4M!
I can’t imagine Tino taking him if he is trouble though. His dad was shopping him around and the Oregon staff gave Tennessee an early heads up. He must have found a buyer because he skipped out on meetings and practices. Sounds like UCLA is likely willing to pay him what he wants.
I’m a firm believer in the talent/trouble matrix.I can’t imagine Tino taking him if he is trouble though.
This is a great point.I’m a firm believer in the talent/trouble matrix.
You can be an a-hole, but you’ve got to make up for it with your talent.
Like if I can’t stand an employee but they’re awesome at their job and make me money, they’re not likely getting fired. But there’s always the ability to out kick your coverage, so to speak.
If you’re gonna be a cancer on the locker room, then you better be a generational talent.
This guy is not generational.
I don’t necessarily think it’s him or has “character issues” IMO. I believe he has gotten bad advice from his dad and agent. I doubt he gets the money he’s looking for and probably won’t get what he was at UT. They tried to play the game and failed. FWIW.. I wouldn’t want any part of that circus but it will be interesting to see who does.I’m a firm believer in the talent/trouble matrix.

Sounds kinda familiar…I’m a firm believer in the talent/trouble matrix.

My research is heavily cited in the “hot-crazy index” literature.Sounds kinda familiar…
It will not be televised. There was some discussion 2-3 weeks ago about Spring Game not being televised or a scheduled replay date.
Has anything changed?
I can confirm this is the case.Cam Rice is visiting today. He's a DT from Ohio University, 6-3, 290. He'd be awesome to have commit. Go Hoosiers!.
He was at Purdue this past weekend. Seemed to indicate he looked small and Purdue wasn’t taking him. But that could be defense specific. Idk. Got a different dude, so maybe that was it as well. I think he’s making his rounds.Cam Rice is visiting today. He's a DT from Ohio University, 6-3, 290. He'd be awesome to have commit. Go Hoosiers!.
Rice has plenty of P4 interest. IU did good things with James Carpenter and Tyrique Tucker who were/are both under 300 pounds. Thanks for the insight @BoilerNHe was at Purdue this past weekend. Right, he has many high major offers, VT, Cal, Minn, Tenn, Maryland, Miss. St., & WV. besides IndianaRice has plenty of P4 interest. IU did good things with James Carpenter and Tyrique Tucker who were/are both under 300 pounds. Thanks for the insight @BoilerN
Ya. I’m not saying he’s bad or a reach.Rice has plenty of P4 interest. IU did good things with James Carpenter and Tyrique Tucker who were/are both under 300 pounds. Thanks for the insight @BoilerN
I Did not think you were. I appreciate intelligent football talk.Ya. I’m not saying he’s bad or a reach.
Really great response. It could mean one thing or the other.I Did not think you were. I appreciate intelligent football talk.
66-0Ya. I’m not saying he’s bad or a reach.
What does this have to do with anything? Or you just living in the past on iu’s best win last year?66-0
IU had two 'best' wins last season, IMO...What does this have to do with anything? Or you just living in the past on iu’s best win last year?
That wasn't even close to our best win. What does this have to do with anything? Or you just living in the past on iu’s best win last year?
I just figured as much as I see 66-0, that was the best win for iu. A win vs Purdue's worst head coach. One that was replaced by a good coach. Carry on.That wasn't even close to our best win.
I don't know why he posted the score but not sure why it requires an equally ridiculous response
You have to factor in level of competition to define best win.I just figured as much as I see 66-0, that was the best win for iu. Carry on.
Agreed. Purdues last push was Illinois. Then it became clear the Walter’s era was officially over. Glad to have a good coach now. We might get some great rivalry games finally. You have to factor in level of competition to define best win.
Purdue was a bad team that had given up
With respect to problematic partners...I always told our sales leaders that a customer can shit like an elephant as long as he eats like one.I’m a firm believer in the talent/trouble matrix.

Quickness and intelligence can overcome size very quickly.Rice has plenty of P4 interest. IU did good things with James Carpenter and Tyrique Tucker who were/are both under 300 pounds. Thanks for the insight @BoilerN
Offers from Tennessee, Indiana, Maryland, Mississippi State, South Florida, West Virginia, FAU, Coastal Carolina, Marshall, Boise State, Memphis, UTEP, New Mexico, App State, Western Kentucky, Arkansas State and Sam Houston State.I can confirm this is the case.
Indiana's best win last year was Michigan, followed by the hammering of Nebraska.
The other wins were critical and had importance at the time but let's call a spade a spade.
Bozo! What does this have to do with anything? Or you just living in the past on iu’s best win last year?
Hey D-A your worst Coach was 2 coaches before.I just figured as much as I see 66-0, that was the best win for iu. A win vs Purdue's worst head coach. One that was replaced by a good coach. Carry on.
Yeah, didn't get to eleven with out all eleven.Indiana's best win last year was Michigan, followed by the hammering of Nebraska.
