Do you suggest they do not rely on Loyer to be a top 2 or 3 target for their points? You can always back out of statements it seems you are very good at that, I would probably guess you are a very young fan who circle talks his way out of situations by asking questions instead of backing anything up with substance.

I haven't changed one thing. I said many teams would be content with Loyer using his elite one on one skills to beat them. His shooting number suggest I'm correct.
The statements are from others, you reference one game where Loyer scored off the dribble and it was a game they lost so I wonder if that wasn't the Houston plan? PU was good last year, not great I expect the same next year from them maybe less since they lost their two best athletes to the portal.

So Purdue loses their like 7th and 8th guys off the bench, upgrade the starting 5 and improve rebounding and they get worse because they lost athletes? One of which literally shot the ball and did little else.
So you're saying Colvin and Heide were 7th and 8th? Who was the first off the bench? Heide and Colvin both in every game played more minutes that Cox. Do you watch the games?
Who is the upgrade to the starting 5? Cluff for Furst I guess, neither is a game changer IMO and you loose your two top bench players who played more than one of the starters. I'm sure you can explain.
Cluff is a major upgrade over Furst. It isn’t close. Plus Jacobson is healthy, Benter is coming off RS.
Cox started. He and Harris likely have more potential than Heide and Colvin. Wish Heide had stayed, but it’s not like Purdue just lost a great player that will be tough to recover from.
Benter, Cox and Harris all < Colvin or Heide. That is not saying PU won't be ok probably just where they were this past season.
Cluff from what one can tell is an upgrade from Furst, hell I'm 5'10 and I'm an upgrade from Furst. lol
Cox and Harris bring way more than Colvin and to a lesser degree, heide though. Benter, can do a lot better than both of them it sounds like, just less athletic. Which, whatever. Not super worried there.
Colvin and Catchings were in state ranked kids that PU wanted and were excited about, and now they are chopped liver. The roller coaster with black and gold glasses cruises onwards.
Yet, I tried to tell you last year that catchings would have a bigger impact in year 2 than 1. You told me I was dumb. I was wrong on Colvin taking the jump though. Thought he would be better this year. I was wrong. I’ve not said either are chopped liver. Didn’t last year. Haven’t this year.
