I wondered if this would finally occur, and now it has for the first time. The CWS is now all SEC and ACC for the final eight. The trend was heading this way for some time. Future situations like this and they may want to look for a more centralized locale, maybe Atlanta.

Would love to see it in Indy. Much better logistics.

It should, Omaha does a good job. I checked off a bucket list item this weekend and saw 3 walk-offs. Great games not always my desired result.

Like the NFL … MLB is a relative newcomer to the south. Rooting for the Alma Mater in baseball was an easy sell.

It took a long time for the rest of the SEC to decide to compete with UK Basketball. (Let’s give LSU extra credit for Pistol Pete)

Baseball is big on the West Coast … Omaha is as good a neutral site proposal as any.

The hometown Creighton Bluejays have 11 tournament bids: the last in 2019.
