So Matta is back as Butler head coach….

Lol Woodson had zero college coaching experience and proved that throughout the year by doing things you only see in the NBA. Zero excuse to ever have 5 subs on the court at a time. In FEBRUARY, he stated that he was still getting used to having less timeouts than you get in the NBA. Refuses to call timeouts to stop runs.
Refuses to call timeouts to stop runs? I think you are confusing Woodson with Archie. Woodson was pretty aggressive in using timeouts to stop runs. Woodsons issue and what the quote was referring to was that Woodson burned a lot timeouts early, frequently leaving few towards the end of games.

Lol you clearly didn’t watch very many games this year. He let teams go on 10-15 point scoring runs often without calling a timeout.

They call it the "brain drain." Below is a Congressional report about it. Indiana is one of the top 10 worst states for brain drain.

lol @ "if possible." Do you really think a smart graduate wouldn't know exactly what he was talking about?
People are so poor at understanding data.

Does the methodology account for substantial increase in pit of state student admission rates over past 35 years as part of evolving business model that is higher education?

Undergrad and most advanced degrees are relatively worthless anyways. We don’t teach people how to think, we teach what to think. Terrible outcomes result.

At this point college degrees are a weeding tool. A lot of competition for scraps.

aren't congress and brain drain synonymous?

Lol. THAT is your rebuttal? Good grief.
What did you say that deserved a response (other than your misuse of the word your)?

All you said is that I should continue to hate with my “Purdoo buds”.

If you would like to post an original thought out response, I will gladly respond in kind.

You responded. I suppose that answers that. So I mistyped on my phone. Got it. Move along

Matta making moves—Phinisee visiting BU this weekend along with NCState transfer Manny Bates and Connor Turnbull (former commit who opened back up when Jordan was fired.). Plus pulled Simas Lukosius back in who IU was evaluating.

Matta will have Butler competitive again, and probably soon. He's a helluva coach and recruiter and probably there to stay this time if his health allows. The Jordan hire was a disaster and I don't think anybody in the country could be better positioned to make Butler relevant again than Matta. Prior to Jordan I loved the way Butler played the game. So much so that I watched them more closely than IU from the later Mike Davis era through the Crean years.

I should add that I think Kelvin Sampson is a terrific coach and nobody's players play harder. But as an alum and a believer that character should matter, I just couldn't stand watching the kind of kids he brought in wearing a uniform that said "Indiana" across the chest.

Interesting you would say that. I too watched Butler a lot more than IU from Davis to early Crean years. It will be fun to watch Matta turn it around for them. I just hope the administration allocates more funds for the athletic department.
