Assuming there are no more transfers and Romeo declares for the NBA Draft, the 2019-20 roster currently looks like this:

- Devonte Green
- De'Ron Davis
- Al Durham
- Justin Smith
- Rob Phinisee
- Race Thompson
- Damezi Anderson
- Jake Forrester
- Jerome Hunter
- Trayce Jackson-Davis
- Armaan Franklin

That's 11 current scholarships, meaning IU has one more available to use. All signs are pointing toward Joey Brunk joining the program, so that would push the number to the limit of 12. That makes me think there may be another transfer coming...

By my count we would have two to give. I think we need two to three new players who can shoot. That above roster is not going to cut it from the three point line.

It is. Assuming Romeo leaves and Brunk comes, IU would still have one scholarship open.

Yeah, I was confused about that too. Mike originally left Forrester off the list of players. We techinically have twelve players returning or signed and one scholarship available, since Moore is transferring. We will have 2 if/when Romeo announces.

Yeah, sorry about leaving Forrester out -- added him in once I realized I had accidentally left him out. And I was unaware the scholarship limit was 13. Good to know.

These days you need 9-10 players good enough to play every game and 3 good scholarship and a few walk on players that are willing to practice every day and play very little. Any more than 10 players that want to play end up being disappointed.
