With the lack of depth at NG I'm surprised we appear to have backed off Tony Fair (the JC guy originally from FtWy, who had moved on from us to commit to Nebraska before they dropped him like a hot rock)... He would seem to be a perfect fit at that spot.
Good analytical review. Excluding any true freshman for a moment, of the returning players, there are a few Id like to see on the field more next season: D Mathews (start alongside Fitz at Safety?). C Jones - more time at a LB spot along with Husy backing up Ball?). Zeimba (mane more snaps yhat Everett got last season) McFadden - can’t believe Allen got more time on field than he did? Needs to flip next year). J Williams at Corner - he seems to be the rising talent of still a good crew there as noted.
Now if any true FR can crack the first two-deep given their talent, great. But seems like with returning players this season has a chance for RS more players and building depth, with some good rising talent who have experience competing for playing time.
