Nah, British government tried. Even prosecuted people who pointed it out with hate crimes. They cover it up?

I couldn’t agree with you more.A long time ago, around these parts, I noticed an item called the Christian Yellow Pages or something like that) in a few waiting rooms. Heck, may have had a couple delivered to the house through the years.
I tried to avoid the businesses within like the plague.
And the Beatitudes.I couldn’t agree with you more.
I believe in God and try to live a good Christian life. I fail most days like all of us do. I am not ever going to try and push religion on anyone.
I think if we lived by the Ten Commandments it would be a pretty decent world.
How do you feel about the Bishop going on The View today?I'm sorry that your family had to sit though that, especially during a time when you all were grieving. That was beyond tone-deaf; it was just cruel.
That said, what Bishop Budde said to Trump was worlds different than what your family experienced.
When asking for mercy and compassion offends someone, what does it tell you about that person?Sorry her supposed sermon was all about politics. Good for her. She got her chance to punk Trump and Vance and she used it.
What’s it tell you about a supposed minister going on The View today to talk about her sermon. She’s an ultra liberal activist, not a minister. When asking for mercy and compassion offends someone, what does it tell you about that person?
How would she like to see that mercy and compassion manifested? When asking for mercy and compassion offends someone, what does it tell you about that person?
I honestly don't have an opinion on it. I didn't see it, but I'm not surprised a program like that reached out. Her plea to Trump made big news. That said, I'd want to see/hear what she said before I weigh in on anything. How do you feel about the Bishop going on The View today?
I honestly don't know why Trump didn't act like a grown up and say that, of course he will enact new immigration policies with dignity and compassion. He could have also thrown in some boilerplate Trump-isms about wanting to make life better for all Americans, being laser focused on deporting dangerous criminals, etc, etc. What’s it tell you about a supposed minister going on The View today to talk about her sermon. So the next time a democratic leader shows up for a very public service I guess the minister or bishop needs to lecture them on killing babies.
Yep. They hate us because they ain't us.he's found peace. and the way. the people who attack him hate themselves
Imagine those years. We were heathens. Lecherous. Selfish at every turn. Drunks. While there van was. At moody Bible college. Wearing seminary issued pants without a zipper. Studying the word of the lord so that he can SAVE US!!!! Maybe once every few months, if there was anything left after tithing, and there usually wasn’t, he might, MIGHT treat himself to a slice from Mr gatty’s pizza.Yep. They hate us because they ain't us.
Truth. He’s a rock. I was drinking AMFs at Upstairs dancing with the Devil (she was gorgeous) and he was preaching on campus. I admire him for taking the constant beating from shit libs and returning for more each day.Imagine those years. We were heathens. Lecherous. Selfish at every turn. Drunks. While there van was. Only to be abused here.
If there’s any consolation the abuse he takes here from the Judases is nothing to that of Jesus. And he knows that. In his peace.
And never throws insults back. Bc he knows his posts mean more. And that he’s serving. He’s always in serviceTruth. He’s a rock. Isn't she a citizen? Not according to Congressman Mike Collins it isn't. He suggested she be deported for what she said.
If you are talking about christian doctrine then she would not be allowed to teach if a Christian male was present. Maybe there weren’t any present…I don’t knowI honestly don't know why Trump didn't act like a grown up and say that, of course he will enact new immigration policies with dignity and compassion. Instead he rebuked a bishop who was basically asking him to adhere to Jesus'/Christian teaching.
Nothing like a challenge:What you won’t find is scripture that advocates for borderless states and non-enforcement of immigration law
Oh, snap, let's talk about Jepthah now.If you are talking about christian doctrine then she would not be allowed to teach if a Christian male was present. Maybe there weren’t any present…I don’t know
The Jewish judge?Oh, snap, let's talk about Jepthah now.
Sojourn: a temporary stay.Nothing like a challenge:
When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
Also a good reminder for Xians not to take the Bible too literally. The Jewish judge?
Especially when it comes to Jewish law…oh waitAlso a good reminder for Xians not to take the Bible too literally.
Yeah, Jewish law is a real pain for Christians...unless they want to post it in a courthouse.Especially when it comes to Jewish law…oh wait
I look forward to the day when some of you can think for yourselves versus simply what Trump tells you to think.
Her message as a whole was 100 percent appropriate for anyone that is truly a Christian at heart. Many of you are not. You care about people in the womb and it seems to end once actual birth occurs.
Those who disregard Jesus aren't Christians regardless of the title they bestow on themselves. She said nothing wrong and wasn't critical at all. Just a Christian leader asking for mercy and compassion of a new governmental leader. It's pretty standard. She or someone like her probably gave the same sermon 4 years ago. And every 4 years.
Yes. Born in New Jersey. So she can’t be deported under current lawIsn't she a citizen?
She didn’t say not to do any immigration reform.Lol. How about compassion for current residents? Eric Adams: "We took $6,500,000,000 out of paying for chronically absent students we could have paid $200,000,000 for. We could have paid for housing, older adults. The long term impact of what's happening to New York, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Houston, the long term impact has yet to materialize, what this crisis, has done to our cities."
More from Adams: "But specifically here in New York, we have a substantial number of chronically absent young people who, were just traumatized, from COVID and other things, and they they just stopped coming to school. If I had $200,000,000 that I can go out and go find those young people and place them back on the correct course, I'm preventing the long term problem. If you don't educate, you're going to incarcerate."
And finally from him: "That's the common denominator denominator in all of our prisons, the lack of education. I could have put 100 of 1,000,000 of dollars in what I'm doing around dyslexia screen and and other, learning disabilities. So those $6,500,000 that I didn't put into housing, I did not put into a senior care, we're getting ready to excuse medical debt for New Yorkers that are dealing with severe medical debt. All of these dollars could have gone into dealing with the long term fixes that we were projecting to correct."
So this pastor wants to take from taxpayers and communities and give money to law breakers? I have compassion for them.
And how many immigrants who are in line trying to do the correct, legal way are being delayed or denied entry? I have compassion for them.
And how about the thousands of migrants who died on the way encouraged by Biden to come? I have compassion for them.
And how about the thousands of girls being smuggled and sex trafficked because of the Biden policies? I have compassion for them.
I guess if you want to invalidate what she said on a technicality be my guest. If you are talking about christian doctrine then she would not be allowed to teach if a Christian male was present. Maybe there weren’t any present…I don’t know
It’s not a technicality.I guess if you want to invalidate what she said on a technicality be my guest.
She didn’t say not to do any immigration reform.
The Israelites were in Egypt for 400 years. That is some temporary standard.Sojourn: a temporary stay.
Tom Homan is setting about the work of enacting the temporary part of the definition. I advise treating illegal immigrants the human dignity they deserve.
I didn’t listen to all of it, but the snippets I heard, and what people said about it, she was arrogant and self-aggrandizing. She exploited her position and her captive audience. None of that is Jesus-like.I honestly don't know why Trump didn't act like a grown up and say that, of course he will enact new immigration policies with dignity and compassion. More like Al sharpton than Joel Osteen. Sharpton has a chip on his shoulder. I don’t think Osteen does.I also didn't hear it, it was more the way it was presented than the message? To put it in simple terms, she Joel Osteened it? If that's it, I get the complaints.
One slight quibble, captive audiences are part and parcel of the religious service experience. It isn't like we have a remote control and can change to a different sermon. My minister works in his love of the Cubs, but I'm a captive audience.
